2 Maybe not alone, but rare. I think I sort of take it as a given these days that any fans that came in with the Compilation only wiki'd the original.

It always makes me a little happier to see someone who came in with the Compilation who really did play the original. *_*

8) I agree that I liked the beast's design more than his human design. As a human, he seems too gentle and, I dunno, unbeastly, and it always put me off, even when I was little and watched the movies, because i didn't think that it went well with his personality. So, you are not alone! \o/

14) I used to like the pairing, too, back when I was in Naruto fandom. There's just something so interesting about their characters, especially together. Though I'll admit the underaged thing kind of does it for me, too.

You kidding me? Johan and fear of him was why I watched. Yes, I'll admit that I liked Tenma and hated when he wasn't around for a while (I wanted to give him hugs to cheer him up), and all the characters are amazing, but once in a while you just suddenly see the shoes, or hear the hinting of his voice and I would be VERY attentive. He scares the fuck out of me, and I love him as a character at the same time. There is so much there to analyze.

The best part? Monster is the only fandom I've never felt a reason to write for. It's so amazingly inclusive, covers everything so wholly, leaves out so little that isn't eventually explained, that you don't NEED fanfics.

OH, and I forgot something important... The only thing that scares me more than a nice, happy, smiling Hiruma from ES 21, is a nice, happy, smiling Johan. Hiruma will black mail you. Johan manipulates you to jump off of roofs and shoot people!

#9, there are a lot of good dubs out there now. When anime was first being put out in the US most of the dubs were pretty bad. It's improved immensely since then.

#15, you're not alone in that. There are a lot of things I want to watch on TV, but I'm not willing to fork out the money to get cable. I don't want to buy boxed sets unless I know I'll like them, and YouTube hurts my eyes. :P

#31, people can be so misunderstanding. When I used to draw a lot, my drawings were always nude before I added clothes (duh), and people would gasp and be all like "Are they naked?!" I used to tell them "You're naked under your clothes too!"

9. Word. I actually like, heck sometimes prefer, the dubs to some anime. Naruto is the one exception and even that show has some decent voice acting. Then again, Naruto's voice in Japanese is just as annoying as it is in English, so at least he's in character.

15. Agreed. Heroes, Buffy/Angel etc. are all shows I wish I could get into if I had the time and money. I have a hard enough time catching up with House and even Bleach on adult swim. Darn you TV and your fleeting programing. >_<

I love you.

Ed's scars and automail absolutely fascinate me. I love studying art that shows where automail meets flesh.

I have scars myself and I was very self conscious of them until I got into FMA. Ed kicks ass, scars and all. His character has helped me accept my scars and grow to like them. If I had the chance, I wouldn't remove them now. They are reminders that I'm a strong person and can over come adversity. I fucking love them now.

and they make me look badass.

I think my own scarring has some part to do with it, too - FMA helped me overcome quite a few things I was self-conscious about actually... but yes, there's no reason to be ashamed of them, especially because they are a part of you and in a way, tell a story about your hardships. I'm glad you agree with my secret, and happy to see the series improve someone else's outlook as well.
