Fashion trend you hate.

I hate the beard/stubble/facial hair trend for men. I have never liked facial hair, and now it seems like EVERY guy has some.

Also not a fan of those nose piercings that look like the rings people put in cows/bulls' (I forgot which) noses, and the big, circular ear piercings (not hoop earrings, but the big, stretched out holes in the earlobes).

I hate adult onesies/rompers and peplum tops because very fucking time I think I see a cute dress or shirt on the rack of a store, I pull it out, and guess what? It's a onesie/romper or a peplum shirt! Annoying.

And that hair style that is long on one side and shaved on the other (think Skrillex or Amanda Bynes) is FUGLY.

I can't stand long hair on men. I had a young hipster teacher who wore his hair long and I used to sit fantasizing about chopping off his bangs during class.

Bullring nose piercings I really don't like as well. There's a fifteen-year-old I've known since her birth who just put up a picture of herself on FB with a bullring and my reaction was "NOOOOO WHY DO THAT TO YOUR PERFECT LITTLE NOSE!!!" Although I thought the nose piercing she had on the side was beautiful. In general piercings don't bother me too much; not even gauges unless they're huge.

Ack, onesies. I think I'm indifferent to them appearance-wise, but they look like a wedgie waiting to happen. (I actually have a dress that began its life as a onesie, though.)

I had to look up what a peplum top or an adult romper was. The peplum top actually looks cute on the right person. The adult romper (if google is telling me correct) just looks like something you'd wear in age play kink or something.

I hate the act of ironically wearing band/movie/comic shirts because it always sets me up for disappointment. I spot someone who is wearing a band/movie/comic shirt that I like, I go and strike up a conversation only to learn that the wearer has no idea who is on his/her shirt or even worse, wore it because they hate the band/movie/comic and thought it would be funny if she/he wore it.

Stretched ears don't look good. On anybody. No, not even you, person-who-will-reply-to-this. In 20 years it's going to be a bitch getting those suckers back to a normal human shape so that you can hide your shame and regret.

That beard which is only a patch below the lower lip or below the chin. Extra negative points if it's long enough to braid.

95 % of tattoos and piercings.

I don't know if this is specifically a fashion trend, but I feel like a way larger proportion of clothes being sold are see-through today than they were five years ago. Like, even the ones that don't seem specifically meant for layering. Just t-shirts and shit. I don't know why this is OK to sell all of a sudden. I JUST WANT AN OPAQUE SHIRT IS THAT SO MUCH TO ASK.

Everything seems to be beige these days. Like, I want to buy colourful clothes, not some browny beige shit that will make me look like I'm naked.

I feel like the stubble only works when everything else is cleancut? Like my coworker always comes in with crisply ironed clothes and done hair, and he has stubble and it's pretty hot.

I definitely agree with the piercings. piercings in general squick me out (I don't even have my ears done at all), but those are definitely the worst of the lot. along with nipple piercings, but thankfully I've never seen one in person.

as for the rompers though...I would definitely wear them if I had the body for them! on me they're just unflattering. I don't know why everyone seems to hate them so much.

the trend that I really hate the most is high-low dresses and skirts. it's just so ugly to me.

Are you still whining about facial hair? Scruffle is the best. I would never consider getting an undercut/half shave/whatever myself, but some girls and boys rock it like there's no tomorrow. They're especially great with neon colors or unnaturally pale colors, like white and lavender.

Have to agree on the onesies/rompers, those are just awful. Peplums I give more leeway, because I see people pull them off well, even if they look weird on me.

When they first came into style, I loved cowl necks. They were a good alternative, but now they're everywhere, and the novelty is gone. I want to see something new.

I also wish Uggs would go away. I know they'll never leave entirely, but I was almost irrationally happy this winter, when I saw most of them had been replaced by riding boots. Fuck yeah, riding boots!

Stretched out ears, facial hair on men, not a fan of long hair on men (like short-haired men--it looks nice, clean, and professional), and I can't stand those droopy pants teenage males and adult males wear. Dude, I don't want to look at your underwear and you look stupid as hell in them, esp. when you're grabbing the pants to keep them up from falling down.

I hate the whole flowy, chiffon-y blouse trend that seems to be going on right now. It seems like every cute button-down shirt I find is super-long and made of stupid thin material that just hangs on me all weird. Plus I primarily wear skirts, and these kind of blouses you pretty much have to either wear with pants or tuck in and let them puff out, which is fine for skinny girls but not so much for everyone else. And it seems like every cute blouse I see is the same damn chiffon crap. I just want a cute button down shirt I can wear with a skirt to work, is that too much to ask?

I hate stubble too! Especially when celebrities go to events. Why women must go with perfect hair and makeup and men get free pass and don´t even bother shaving??? Hello no!

I'm about to reveal myself to be a fashion troglodyte, but that fucking thing where you roll up your pants a little at the bottom or just wear high water pants. Whatever you do, don't let your pants touch your shoes. I hate it. Can't wait until it goes away.

Everything right now is neon pink or green or that horrid yellow-lime colour. 100x worse when it's combined with beige. *bleh*
It only looks good on a very, very small amount of people, and on everyone else, it looks disgusting.
It needs to die.

Also, is it just me, or is a lot of women's clothing lately really cheap, awful quality and poorly made? I tried on a dress the other day and didn't know whether to laugh or cry - it was falling apart at the seams. Disgusting that they'd even try to sell such shit for such an expensive price!

I really hate it when people "bump" their hair. I just hate it. So much. I think it looks awful, like their heads aren't human-shaped. D:
