8. It's an INCREDIBLE show. On the surface it seems kinda silly, but it's actually got depth. And so do the characters...I mean, Hatori=one of the best and most deep characters in anime.

Furuba owns my soul. I can see how people sometimes dislike the anime, though. Toward the end of its run, unlike her portrayal in the manga, Tohru began to become a teeny, weeny bit Mary Sue-ish. *is shot*

I think for some people, the problem with this series is the weak narrative. Also, there are better shoujo-like series out there, without needing to rely on sappy inner monologues all the damn time.

2. I'm not even Christian and I used to love VeggieTales. It was clever. And most of the lessons it taught were about things like sharing and being true to yourself, so the religious/moral aspect didn't bother me much. I've seen a little of the more recent stuff, and it's just... dumb. It makes me sad, it really does. Children's shows don't have to be stupid for children to enjoy them.
