so some pedophile on Reddit* is trying to rationalize his pedophilia by posting articles to me (and others) about how pedophilia is COMPLETELY unharmful to children and not that big of a deal. :| And I just have no idea how to handle such a deluded person.

he hasn't outright admitted he has acted on his feelings but given he has admitted to being a pedophile and says sexual contact with children (one of his articles was about children from 0-14yo), I wouldn't trust him if he said he has never done anything.

He came out of the woodwork because we were all discussing an awful blog that says it is okay for "pedophiles to work with children". And that most of us believe that while SOME pedophiles may be able to control themselves, the risk is too great. And the risks FAR outweigh the benefits.

A good start would be pointing out the flaws in his rationalizations and show how harmful what he's suggesting is. Which given he is arguing for practicing pedophilia should be easy.
