I just looked up Wikipedia on her. Apparently people misinterpreted her, and she was speaking about a prevalent culture that linked PIV sex with male domination.

I wish I could find some links for you, but these people exasperate me too much to even call them out. I think the movethefuckoverbro Tumblr has taken a stance like this before, and so has their followers. But here's a great example of how sensitive these SJWs have become.

The problem with this is that, what if both parties are that drunk? Is it a two-way rape? Or did no one get raped?

It starts to be the question, is rape still rape without the intention to rape? Supposing A honest to god thought B was fully into it, but B was just too overwhelmed to say no (which happens a lot), and so A thought it was a fun consensual experience but B felt violated. Is that really rape? Perhaps we could call it rape, but I wouldn't call A a rapist.

As someone has mentioned here before, it's possible to have nonconsensual sex without being a rapist, just like it's possible to kill someone without being a murderer. Intent makes all the difference, but the problem with sexual behavior is that it's often fucking impossible to prove what anybody's intentions were.

I am willing to accept on 100% good faith that my rapist never meant to commit rape, and was being a stupid selfish asshole wrapped in ten layers of wishful thinking, selective deafness, and convenient forgetfulness. It doesn't change the fact that being selectively deaf to the word "stop" and conveniently forgetful of what somebody withdrew consent for is rape.

The question you're looking for is "is it still rape if A thought B was on board with it and B never explicitly withdrew consent?" And the answer is "sometimes, depending on how obvious B's distress/reluctance was, and there is a nontrivial subset of cases where A isn't a rapist but should still feel like a great big bag of dicks for not verifying that B was actively into it."
