7. Oh my god, the most fun thing about that series is hating Light. I despised him all through the series, my friend and I both. I have friends that adore him, but I can't see how they can. He's an egotistic bastard that thinks he holds the rights to the planet when he's really just a spoiled, petulant child. Don't worry, you don't have to like Light at all to like the series. (Not that I'm telling you "ZOMG READ IT ARG!!" because you're allowed to do what you want, but just so ya know.)

18. It's been said, but Japan is not country o' amazing. If you're so learned in the modern culture, surely you understand its xenophobia? The point of escaping problems is not to create new ones. That said, why can't you just move to somewhere else in the UK, or maybe somewhere else in Europe? You may think the distance isn't far enough blah blah melodrama but having moved myself and moved someone else, it will be a lot farther than you think.

Fuck Japan. It's xenophobic and hard to get into. COME TO CANADA! YOU ALREADY SPEAK HALF OUR LANGUAGES AND WE HAVE MAPLE SYRUP AND MOOSE! =DDDD

No, really, for serious, if you REALLY want to get away, look for an easier country to get into, one where you speak the language and know the alphabet is a great start.

The people at canadabound can give you tons of information and support for immigration laws and processes if you're interested in working or studying in my homeland.

Think about it. Japan might seem like the land of milk and honey for you but it is NOT your only way out and if you narrow your options down to 'omg just Japan' you may be setting yourself to take a VERY HARD road into a place when you may not find yourself to be welcome in the end.

If you're still a high school student, applying to universities in other countries when you're done high school is a great option. If you're IN university now, look at your options for transfer.

If anything is better than where you are, you have the whole wide world to explore, not just Japan.

PS--Japan is not all that hard to get into. At least it hasn't been, in my experiance. XD Though I am sure it's easier to get into Canada
