Being immortal would suck indeed. Being able to die means you only have a limited of time to do all the cool stuff you want to, which means you have a feeling of urgency not to waste time like those damned vampires.

I love that most of my hobbies are about making something, whether it be a fic or a shawl or a pie or a My Little Pony that looks like the TARDIS. It makes me happy to look at my collections and think, "That all came out of my hands and my brain." I also love my willingness to dive in on a new art or cooking technique that I've never tried before, and the fact that I can usually (eventually) make it work.

I have really good episodic memory. Like, I can still quote things that my friends said from my secondary school orientation day and that was almost 6 years ago now. They weren't even things that particularly stuck out to me, I'm just good at remembering. My semantic memory is a mess, though.

I can say quite honestly that my hair is fucking gorgeous. Long, thick, wavy with big shiny naturally-forming corkscrew curls at the ends, lustrous as hell, natural highlights, nary a hint of split ends, dryness, oiliness, or brittleness.

I've found that instead of worrying about the fact that my face is pale, pointed and plain, or that my figure is bony and flat-chested, I'm just going to allow my hair to be gorgeous and to hell with the rest. It's just a little detail in the grand scheme of my life, but it does make me feel good to think about :)

I love that I'm pretty judgement-free, even if being surrounded by nosy, malignant people all day makes it sort of hard sometimes. I guess I learned on my skin pretty early what people's unwanted opinions can do to you.

Other than that I like being very versatile and having a brain suited for pretty much everything, even if I'm unable to channel my energy constantly into anything so that's pretty much useless.

I'm a pretty nice person. I tend to avoid people who are really negative and I almost never judge people based on what they like/do (unless it hurts other people).

I'm good at language, both manipulating English and learning foreign ones.
I'm also really good at organizing drawers and things.

It took me a while to become absolutely certain, but I am gorgeous. Seriously, I am beautiful enough to be painted.

Now mind, my life and mind are both going to hell in a handbasket, but I can have the tiny amount of consolation that I look good doing it. Like a movie about a woman whose life and mind are going to hell in a handbasket, with the woman being played by a beautiful movie star with a smidge of dark circle makeup under her eyes and a few strands of her hair left uncombed.

I'm almost 24 and I'm still a virgin. Sometimes I'm embarrassed about this, but overall I'm proud that I didn't let societal pressure push me into anything I wasn't ready for. Now when (or if!) I meet someone I want to have sex with, I'll be comfortable telling them what I like/want and what I don't, whereas if I'd done it as a teenager I probably wouldn't have said anything and just assumed my partner knew better.
