#1 - WHO DOESN'T?

#10 - Whoa,lot's of people making a hatefest over this.
Akane in my opinion certainly is the best Near rper around,I love her characterization and think her Near is very believable, specially on the romantic field.

The game itself is a bit hazy on my mind but I really didn't think it was as OOC as most people are making it seem;perhaps she wasn't as good at playing Near by the time she started the game,but even so it is VERY WELL DONE.And her artwork improved a LOT recently.

IT'S INCREDIBLY.SHITTY. TO MAKE SOMETHING LIKE THIS ON RPG MAKER BY YOURSELF,IT REALLY IS.(...t-true story!I promised a game for my best friend some ages ago but never had the balls to go through with it.)

People should stop being so bitchy about Akane,it's not the first time I see them bad mouthing her work just to indirectly say "Bawwl I hate how popular her stuff is,I wish I was known too :'(".
Honestly,I don't know her personally nor have ever talked to her but I can tell she is very nice to everyone.(unlike most fandom's "BNFs",which 90% of the times are elitist princesses.)

There indeed are the ones who are VERY fanboy/girl-ish towards her,but doesn't this happen pretty much ANYWHERE...?(in fact,here on fandomsecrets are a lot of "I admire x and I wish were like x" secrets!)

I'm tired of all this hate over who is actually doing what you're supposed to do on Fandom: Enjoy yourself and share good things with others, instead of going HATEHATEHATE.

Akane's a BNF? Well, to be honest she deserves to be for making that game. You really just sound bitter and jealous. She's a lovely and sweet person who's contributed to the fandom for a long time.

It's kind of sad you're getting so worked up about it just because her art isn't to your taste.

I'd plug my own fic except (1) I'm scared I won't have the time to make it past the second chapter and (2) That'd be awful damn conceited of me, wouldn't it?

Yeah, if I were you - I'd start with G1 cartoons and work my way up. It's not the smartest cartoon ever (She-ra did it better.) - but it has its retro 80s fun. Also, if you have any questions - the Transformers Wikipedia (http://transformers.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page) is the BEST source for an answer. To ANYTHING. And it's a bloody riot to boot.

Transformers: Animated is coming out next year and it looks like it'll not only be a ton of fun but also a great new Transformer series. Lots of fans hate the art style... I love it. It has a great group of writers, producers and voice actors so, I'd give it a chance if I were you.

ALSO, IDW Comics has a Transformer comic out. While you'll have some catching up to do (About 4 TPBs) it's still in the relatively early stages of its story and a good bit of roboty fun. I'd pass on the IDW Transformers/Avengers Crossover though.

The fandom itself is rather nice, compared to most other fandoms. If you can ignore the "if it isn't G1 it's slag" fanboys, you're usually bound for a good bit of fun! I've met a lot of nice people online and at conventions. Heck, I got my beloved Evil Furnace Bot (http://transformers.wikia.com/wiki/Fallen) figure from a nice guy I met at a convention.

Oh there is much more where that came from. Check the toy bios for more fodder like the actual characters of the Decepticons (bad robots) and little extra bits from the Autobots (good robots).

Like how "Ironhide is the big stick to Primes smooth words" or how "Bonecrusher hates everything".

The characters in the cartoons are never the same as the movie characters. Prime and Megatron where not brothers and the Allspark doesn't exist. There is also plenty of fodder in the other continuities as well.

The human girl Alexis infatuation with Starscream in Armada, Ironhide and Kickers friendship in Energon, Infernos adoration to Megatron (Inferno is an ant Transformer who call Megatron his "queen", seriously) in Beast Wars. The young Lio Junior and his father figure Lio Convoy in Beast Wars 2, Grimlocks dislike for the Autobots pussyfooting or that Optimus Primal once had Optimus Prime spark (Transformer soul) in him for a while.

So. Much. Fodder. If you ever want to give the older shows a chance dead secret person.

Don't be afraid of robots. Quite a few very terrific stories and/or characters exist out there if you learn to see them not as icky boy things but simple artefacts of coolness.

Like unicorns, ninjas or magical homosexual catpeople.

Whoamygod 32. I was seriously starting to wonder if I was the only one. I love the movie and the songs, but every time I watch it I can't help but shake my head. Ariel's decisions are just plain stupid and she showed no remorse until she realized she was going to get punished.

If it weren't a Disney movie, she'd be a nasty slug all eating whale poo off the ocean floor right now.
