15. I'm afraid I have to partially agree there. I don't care much for Link, Marth and Roy either and would like to see spotlight on lesser used characters and genfic, but you lost me at the part where you "do crazy crap on stages instead of actual fighting." Erm, isn't Smash Bros. supposed to be about doing both? I'm not saying it has to be BAM-BAM-DBZ or that I detest slice-of-life, but the initial premise IS about battles and adventure. :o

1. FUCK YEAH SNOWBOARDING. Even though I hit stuff all the time (which was actually some of the best parts, seeing him whack into snowmen and trees and hearing that little sound and watching him fall over, ahahaha), I loved that minigame more than any of the others. (Especially the motorcycle one -- GOD that sucked.)

22. It's next to impossible for any real person to be as wholly good as Tohru is, but still -- kudos to you for admiring someone so awesome.
...and even though I write this, I have to admit sometimes I imagine how wonderful the world would be if more people were like Tohru.

22. I have a long, long history of hating female leads, especially in anime, especially if they're ditzy and cute and naive...

I couldn't hate Tohru. Furuba is the last anime I watched all through, ages ago, and I still remember that first episode, fully expecting to despise this little character who was so meek and subservient and let people walk all over her like Cinderella and seemed to be waiting to be rescued instead of taking charge and confronting people... and I couldn't. There's a subtle, kind strength about her character that I wish I could emulate.

Thank you for reminding me of probably my only favorite female anime character ever, and why I like her so much. There need to be more characters like Tohru.

Franziska/Gumshoe is made of win, awesome, and love, and I have totally been wanting to write some kind of big epic legal love story with them since I played Justice For All. ♥ (And yeah, I'm a Phoenix/Miles shipper too, but I agree that the detective dom'ing doesn't get enough love.)

I think I probably would've liked West better if he'd been eased in more slowly. But there was like, this disgusting contrast which seemed like a very blatant intentional 'fuck you Paire shippers' with Caitlin and Peter's first kiss and Claire and West's first kiss one scene right after the other. Kring has said he's trying to "teach" fans how to watch the show, so I think that was a shining example of that. (Seriously, the fans are going to ship whatever the hell they want, don't try to tell them what they should ship.)

But that aside, what, three episodes in and Claire trusts the guy and is making out with him. Trusts him enough to doubt her father. I kind of think that in the long run, the popular theory of West being a Company operative is in the green, although I'm not entirely certain why Bob would send Mohinder to locate Claire if he already had West keeping a line on her, but who knows.

Of course, Kring could've also completely missed how juicy of an opportunity it would've been to manipulate Claire via West.

Bottom line is though that I dislike West and wish horrible painful things upon him. I mean. Anyone who floats outside your window is not going to be an awesome boyfriend.

#36. When I saw the movie for the first time, my first thought wasn't "Ewww, gross!" But "Awww, baby chestburster alien, I want one!" I just can't take them seriously. They're adorable. And that scene in Spaceballs didn't help much, either.

No freaking clue about the DN RP wankage, but what stirred my interest in this secret was the friending/de-friending issue. I had a good friend once who was a tough person to be with. She never really listened to me or gave stuff I liked a chance. I de-friended her because I didn't feel comfortable having her read the stuff on my LJ and that's when I realized that even though I liked her and she was a nice person, I didn't totally trust her and being with her was hurting me in the end.

I don't know if this relates to you at all OP, but there's someone out here who understands (even a little) what you're going through.

1. The snowboarding was the best part of the game. Even though I've become rather disenchanted with the game these days, a few years ago my best friend and I were discussing what made FFVII awesome. It was like shiny crack. Right in the middle of this EPIC storyline you get to snowboard and then you can play games at the Golden Saucer.

32. While it's probably one of my favourite Disney movies because I was completely in love with mermaids as a child, upon rewatching the movie for the first time in about a decade earlier this summer I felt a little sickened. Ariel reminded me of my younger sister who was pretty much a rebellious, selfish, emo, fucking insane nympho. Okay, so my sister's recovering from that ever since we staged an intervention. But at sixteen she was a terror. And the fighting between Ariel and Triton were way too close for comfort for me.

I just listed to the soundtrack and I was sobbing. I've only seen a bootleg, but I love this show so so so much and I love listening to the soundtrack, and it kills me that it's not more popular because it's just so emotional and so amazing.

Oh god Michael Arden you break my heart. I love EVERYONE in that show they're all so great. I saw it at its off-Broadway location and then went back with all of my friends the very next week to see it again because it's so AMAZING.

As the original OP of 7, I can tell it's actually quite an odd position to be in, knowing someone actually might feel for me like I had secretly hoped for. I mean, I'm not sure if it's someone I know or not. Plus, if it is someone I know, I'm not sure I want to know who it is, because there's that whole "what if we ruin our friendship?" thing. Since 7 posted, I've been nervous and thinking way too much.

Then again, that's kinda how the Bakura/Ryou relationship works: the yami messes with the hikari's mind.

And as it's easy to see, I'm so very much the hikari here...
