My work has one of the cheap hand dryers. I love it because where I work is freezing and that is so warm. I sometimes use the bathroom just so I can use it. D:

Thank you. I have never heard the entire thing. Someone tried to sing it at a birthday event when I was small, but they'd forgotten most of the words, and it's bugged me ever since.

Don't go on dates like only do things in a group or only do things one-on-one that are clearly not dates (like, um...never mind, I feel like anything could be a date)

I know her. Peripherally, but I did know her back in school. We interacted several times in friendly ways, and I can say that she's a genuinely nice and funny person, if a bit of a black hole (if she wasn't the center of attention at all times, she did not do well). But she was always so...slow to empathy. I doubt she was trying to actually poke fun at Christian Bale's weight or at fat people in general. She just seemed to have difficulty understanding that other people aren't sharing her thought process and that things that are innocent and funny and not at all malicious to those who know how she got there don't seem that way to everyone else. And that is the only thing I'll say about it.

I'm sorry-- it truly sucks. Solidarity!

It took forever for me to get a doctor to listen to me and agree to prescribe tests; everyone always told me I just needed to get better sleep habits or stop working so hard, etc. And I kept saying that it probably wasn't normal to sleep 15+ hours and then not be able to stop myself from falling asleep in the middle of doing things. And lo and behold, my tests showed off the charts EDS.

Anyways. No one in IRL seems to really get it, so there's something reassuring about knowing other people out there understand.

I don't see how they could stand it! When I got a smudge on my glasses it drives my crazzzyyyy.

The clothes thing does not bother me as much because I rarely notice people's clothes.

I'm not put off watching Kill la Kill because of the outfits but man they look fucking bizarre, to the extent where I don't understand how they're supposed to be sexy because I find them so damn ridiculous.

I don't like it either. But for me it's less of a "OH GOD GET THE TITS AWAY FROM ME" reaction and more my inability to comprehend the design. I just look at this stuff and think "Why? Why are they wearing that? What could possibly possess this character to put this sad imitation of clothing on their body and parade around this way? What's the point?" (And of course, the answer is usually 'the creator did it so people can ogle boobs/breasts/etc.', which is sad and annoying.)

Those are two things in life that will take you far.

Bad roommates suck.

I'm looking forward to being able to live on my own.

It is especially annoying when they look at you and you are wrong. :[

When I've spent ages coding a table on a wiki and I'm sure I typed everything correctly, and then preview reveals I managed to mess up somewhere.

On the page I've been working on the past couple days, I've come to hate the heavy red font that appears when I mistyped something in one particular part of that table's coding.

Like the really old ones that have zero power but make nice warm air? I like those. Quiet and warm.

Probably because they haven't met someone who is fiercely loyal except for in movies.

People like that tend to be rare.

Since there are a lot of people in this thread talking about how they would pay money for fic - out of curiosity, how much would you pay an author you like to write a fic for you? Depending on the length of the fic, I suppose?

Oof, that's horrifying-- I'm sorry. I very rarely get sleep paralysis, but I do get horrific hypnapompic hallucinations pretty much whenever I wake up at night.

Man, the human mind/body is a bizarre contraption sometimes.
