Does your friend mind Sirius and Remus raise him (without slash?) Has she read the Dangerverse series? That one has Sirius, Remus, and their OC wives raising Harry, Hermione, Draco, and an OC, and its really awesome (though the latest in the series hasn't been quite as good).

Less a general request, more a "help me find this stupid fucking thing before I go insane":

I read a Stargate fic once where they were running some kind of invasion drill, it was a yearly occurrence, and Daniel had been banned from being on the invading team because he was too good at it. I think there was also betting? It was a comedy.

Different fic, but for some reason I think it's the same author: the Tok'ra have a mysterious device attached to a Stargate in the middle of nowhere, they bribe SG1 into going in, surprise time travel, I think it was a Firefly crossover? May have been some other show set in the future but I distinctly remember a desert/wasteland setting that I may have imported from a different crossover.

I was very much in a Bela mood the other day and went through AO3 trying to find Bela fics. Except most of the Bela stories seemed to be not about her, but rather about others (generally Dean/Castiel). So, does anyone know of any good Bela fic? It can be any pairing for her, but please no Dean/Sam or Dean/Castiel. Also, it could be gen with her just as a character, but I'd like for her to be at least a reasonably decent sized part of it.
