It's been a while since I watched Pocahontas, but I can't say I remember a single instance of "no homo lol".

Not related, but when this came out (I was six years old) I, for whatever reason, decided I like Nakoma (sp?), the friend, better than Pocahontas. I fangirled over her and don't even know what was so appealing about her, pretty sure she betrayed the shit out of Pocahontas. I even wanted to be her for Halloween, but they only sold Pocahontas costumes at the store so I had to be her instead. (little blonde hair blue eyed Pocahontas monstrosity, sorry SJWs)

Nowadays....still not really, but it's getting better. But children's entertainment still has this air of "MUST PROTECT THE CHILDREN" about it that even this won't fly too well.

Um if these two are meant to be an example of that, you need to pick a different one, 'cause I never got the slightest sense of romantic attraction between the two of them, and believe me, I look for that shit!

If you'd picked any of the examples of "those two guys" from a Disney movie, or maybe Tiana and Lottie from PatF, I could've seen it. Hell, I can even see where people are coming from when they say the relationship between Elsa and Anna came off more romantic than sisterly (though I don't agree), but Pocahontas and Nakoma? Nope, just friends there.
