i liked the trolls and the song wasn't bad. just seemed out of place at the moment. like they forgot to give kristoff any background or proper history so they threw it in.

I thought it was okay, it just bugged me that Anna was running out of time and Kristoph couldn't take two seconds to say "Yo can we sing later this is kinda serious." but that's the kind of thing that would've bothered me even as a kid.

I think you kind of have to look at musicals like time freezes while everyone sings and dances. Frozen isn't the only one that has a time problem to deal with.

You are not alone, OP. I walked away from the movie liking Kristoff more than the girls too. The troll song isn't my favorite (For the First Time in Forever reprise is my favorite), but it was really catchy and cute.

I REALLY liked the trolls, I would probably watch a whole fraggle rock style show about them. read books buy toys. I also liked Sven the reindeer and Olaf. The sisters were awesome and probably my favorite parts, but I don't know i just liked the trolls looks/personality! The only real problem I have with them is that their song is THE LAST song. It REALLY could have used a reprise at the end, Maybe a love is an open door/Build a snowman happy reprise duet.

I actually adored Kristoff (he's dreamy and sweet) but I didn't like the song. Sorry. (It's fine that you did though, it just didn't work for me.)

That is definitely my favorite song, though I don't have a preference among any of the main characters.

My second favorite song is the ice-breaking song in the very beginning, though, so what do I know.

I've already completely forgotten every note of thie troll song, and I only just saw the movie a week ago. I adored Kristof, but this song is what turned me off the trolls. Why the fuck do they care so much about human romance?!

I know this has probably been discussed to hell here already (I avoided Frozen secrets because I hadn't seen the movie yet), but by god was the music in this movie mediocre (apart from Let it Go, which still had horrible orchestration and a completely out-of-place piano intro, but Idina Menzel and those high notes were amazing).

I can't believe the internet is losing its shit over this movie; it was the only Disney film I've ever felt was an actual waste of time.

Yeah it was my favourite song too. And it was really cool how the trolls obviously treated Kristoff like family. I really liked him too. About even with Elsa and more than Anna, even.

The thing that I really like about the song is that they basically start out poking and jibing and teasing Kristoff. They're literally trolling him. Because they're trolls.

...Well, I thought it was funny.

That song was so ridiculously awkward and out of place. I liked the trolls so it might have been cute if the timing was different, but it seems like it was just jammed in there where it was because fuck you, that's why.

I tend to disliking comedy characters - that includes Olaf btw. Kristoff is nice enough, but I don't have any strong feelings or interest in him.

But that doesn't matter cause you can like the things you like the same way I dislike the things I dislike. It will never be a perfect 50/50 so all communities will have a theme of for or against a thing.

I would have loved a whole movie about Kristoff growing up with the trolls. There would need to be some other plot there too, but... trolls! Troll society! The crystals! Like there was some dumb thing about how "Oh, the crystals are gender, pink for girls and blue for boys, and girls wear flowers" Except.. a pretty good number had purple, or yellow, or green, and some of the male voiced trolls had flowers. So is it age, status, or gender and yes trolls have a gender spectrum not a binary? How did the kingdom know about them and they know about the king and queen? Where did Kristoff get his adult clothes?

Then again, I also would have loved a whole lot longer spent on Elsa and Anna growing up. I felt like up until, well, after Let It Go, the movie felt like one big musical recap at the start of an episode and I wanted a lot more.
