9. Throw a drabble out there, or something short? Test the waters? That's my $0.02.

26. My circle of friends and I were soooo heavy into KoL a few years ago - but I never beat the Sorceress

38. Dork on, bro/sis. I do the alchemy-activation too, when I'm about to cook something or otherwise create.

Dude, I thought I was totally alone in the dorkism.

Dorks unite.

23. Howl went and bought Slytherin gear?...Oh, that's supposed to be Snape! I would never have guessed!

Hahahaha, yes. <3

Snape =/= Heathcliff.

Re: 23.

(Anonymous) 2007-11-16 10:29 am (UTC)(link)
maybe they were drawing parallels between Snape and Heathcliff?

8. Words can not even describe how crazy the maker of this secret is. Talk to your shrink.

9. I had to tilt my head to read that secret. What about those poor souls who have stiff necks?

10. First paragraph. Zelos Wilder. I win.

18. Love the choice of picture.

19. Oh ho ho, somebody doesn't like chips and writing.

21. That is one of the cutest cosplay pictures I've ever seen.

30. Hypocrite?

36. Okay then. There's no chemistry.

[identity profile] lucia-tanaka.livejournal.com 2007-11-16 04:13 am (UTC)(link)
10. Jesus Christ, yes. :claps: I'm surprised there wasn't an optional gay pride outfit for him.

7. When people ask me to describe my ideal woman, I generally ask if they've ever seen Farscape. Aeryn is the very essence of sexy.

11 & 20

[identity profile] cryforthemoon.livejournal.com 2007-11-16 03:09 am (UTC)(link)
11 - DEAR GODS, YES. (Although I reckon Sylar would look prettier in the dress and Mohinder in some sort of collar.)

20 - The only bit of slightly possible canon I've ever seen with this pairing is at the Homecoming dance, when Peter saves her from Sylar - I thought there was a moment there before I found out about Nathan being her father. It's cute, though. :)

(Anonymous) 2007-11-16 03:11 am (UTC)(link)
10. I'd make a pithy comment, but everything I wanted to say has already been said, so in conclusion: You lose.
(Though automatically throwing the "bisexual, duh" thing at it makes me wince, since it's generally taken to imply equal attraction to both sexes. I prefer "predominantly heterosexual, incidentally homosexual," kthnx.)

11. ......that photomanip scared the SHIT out of me. Whyyyyyyyy T_T

24. Don't worry about the "fandom lesbian" thing so much; just follow your feelings. ♥

32. Mmmmm, Natalie Portman.

36. That's lovely art. ♥

38. OH GOD ME TOO. Especially the Yuugiou card thing -- I do it all the time with my ID whenever I swipe in, hahahahahaaa.

38

(Anonymous) 2007-11-16 06:33 am (UTC)(link)
...I did it all the time with my camp ID. I kept myself awake through lectures doing it.

If you can't open up to your therapist and you don't think they understand you, you do not have a relationship with that therapist that will let you heal.

TELL your therapist that you don't think they understand, find out WHY you feel like that so you can either mend the therapeutic relationship or find another shrink who's better suited to your needs.

You cannot expect for professional help to work if you can't or won't open up to your practitioner and a fictional character is not ever going to be a substitute for the kind of support and insight another human being can give you.

Having Ed to talk to is good if it helps you, but it won't fix everything. You've taken the step of getting help in the first place, now you need to take steps to get you more properly specialized help. You need trust and faith in the care and understanding of your therapist before they can help you with anything.

Please trust me on this one, I've switched therapists twice and I've had to work hard on a relationship with the one I have now, but now that I've built the right relationship with her everything I've worked towards is coming together so much better because of our improved communication.

I really hope you can work through this too.

38. Me tooooooooooooooooooooooo. Especially the motions for rasengan and hand signs. :3
Alchemy transmutation and the flicky/show-offy card motion thing I do but not often.

Also in biology when no ones looking, I snag an extra thermometer and pretend they're swords and imitate Zoro's santoryuu techniques.

(Anonymous) 2007-11-16 06:34 am (UTC)(link)
Except you probably don't put a thermometer in your mouth. ...*eyes pencil nearby* However, on the other hand...

Hamel could beat up any other modern anime main character, put them in a robot suit and use them as ammo against the rest of them.

I still can't get over that Starbuck is a girl! ZOMG!

But yeah. I feel the same way (to a point) whenever I go to Starbucks.

I remember watching like the first episode of the original series and not being able to stand it thereby forming a highly biased and low opinion of the remake. But I think I need to watch it since it's supposedly really good. And if not I can always watch it for Jamie Bamber. :P

Re: 1

[identity profile] artemekiia.livejournal.com 2007-11-16 04:21 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, the original series is really lame, I totally agree. Really though, give the new series a try, you won't be disappointed.

But now I have a better excuse as to why I don't shit Peter/Claire: I'M TOO BUSY SHIPPING ADAM/PETER LIKE IT'S MY JOB.

36- Everythng is "Pedo" to some groups of people. To the point that it's an irrational parnoia. No, a 30 year old checking out a 17 year old's cleavage is not "Pedo". No, some kids with a couple year age difference trying to have a romantic relationship is not pedo. (Maybe stupid, but not pedo.) No, drawing pictures of cartoon characters as sexy adults is not pedo. (Really damn weird in some cases, but a pretty clear indication of non-pedo-ness would be the "Sexy Adults" part of that sentence. Pedos lust for children, not adults that used to be children. People who lust for adults who used to be children are called... um... people.)

*Pedo icon, since that character is under age 18 and NEKID!*

[identity profile] t3h-toby-chan.livejournal.com 2007-11-16 03:56 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, but as a side-note, that fanart you are using for the secret violates Deviantart's "Child pornography" conditions. Since both characters are being labeled clearly in the image as under age 18, and are shown partly nude and in a presumably sexual context. (Even if it was said "They are 18 and 20 in this pic", DA still doesn't allow it since they are 12 and 14 in canon, therefore they can't legally cover it should legal trouble come up concerning their hosting of suggestive pictures of underaged characters. It's fine for them; they're a business that can make their own rules to cover their asses. More power to them.

(A lot of the DA community would back up behind that rule as fuel for them to flame any fan or supporter of said art/pairing as 'pedos'. I find it stupid that they do so. Just because it's against DA's rules, doesn't make it omghorrible kiddiepornz!)

25- Where the hell is Tsunade's cooch? D:

(Anonymous) 2007-11-16 03:58 am (UTC)(link)
The word 'fap' came up so many times in the secrets today that when I read, 'SORRY THIS IS SO LATE. That's what I get for taking a nap ._.', I totally misread it as, "SORRY THIS IS SO LATE. That's what I get for taking a fap ._."

Bwaaahhhaaaahaa that made me lol.

10. Because obviously heterosexuality is just a myth!

[identity profile] kxo.livejournal.com 2007-11-16 04:06 am (UTC)(link)
10. GUYZ SRS BZNS. THERE IS JUST NO WAY THAT MEN WHO ARE INTERESTED IN WOMEN COULD EVER BE INTERESTED IN OTHER MEN. I MEAN, DUH, THERE ARE ONLY TWO POSSIBLE OPTIONS, PEOPLE: EXCLUSIVELY HETEROSEXUAL OR EXCLUSIVELY HOMOSEXUAL. AND STOP USING YOUR IMAGINATIONS. SRSLY. needs moar heteronormativity

32. I have absolutely no idea why the slave outfit is supposed to be hot. Is it some kind of weird power thing? Sexualized servility?

35. I wonder how many of these ones are made by the person who is the subject of the secret. Hmm.

38. AHAHAHA, I do anime hand motions, too. Especially the Study Hard! clap-thing. When I was little, I used to do the henshin gestures from Sailor Moon all the damn time. Sometimes I still practice the "I'll punish you!" part.

35

(Anonymous) 2007-11-16 08:42 am (UTC)(link)
Hm. I can promise you that this one wasn't made by her. She doesn't sound anywhere near as utterly retarded as I can. :\

Violinist of Hameln is the best, hands down. Too bad more people don't realize that.

1. OMG STARBUCK. BEST CHARACTER EVAR. Heh. The scene in "You Can't Go Home Again" when she was getting coffee and Lee was bitching her out for washing out the nuggets? I was totally like, "Tall, grande, or venti Captain?"

2. John Crichton: God's Gift to Leather Pants. (I'm pretty sure that's his official title <3 )
