I'm going to bake an epic amount of cranberry bread in preparation for Thanksgiving. Last year we made something like 10 loaves? IDK, I lost count. At least 8, but maybe as many as 12.

I guess studying for sem exams (which I'm currently procrastinating on) could kind of count as epic. Otherwise, I got nothing til the exams end and the Big Bad Wolf sale (a huge book sale that Malaysia has every year) comes round again.

Disappointing season or series finales.

So I just rewatched my doctor who dvds and I'm annoyed all over again by the season finals for season 4 and 6. The season 4 ending felt too much like fanfic for me while season six was just a mess overall.

Also I was never impressed by the SPN final 'Swan Song', for an episode that could have been the last ever, I found it really weak and lacking in suspense.

BBC America's DW Marathon is pissing me off

Starting today, they're showing all of Season 1 of New Who, all of Season 4, all of Season 5, all of Season 6, and then all of Season 7 in preparation for the 50th anniversary special.

Meaning that the only season with Martha as main companion (Season 3) is not being shown (except for 1 episode, "Blink," which has Martha in it for barely 30 seconds).

I'm not a Martha stan (I mean, I like her like I like all the companions, new and old), but this is fucking ridiculous.

What have you discovered recently?

In an effort to find something to do at work (and thanks to some suggestions here), I have discovered podcasts. Obviously I knew of them, but I never used them. Well, the past two days I have just been listening to old episodes of the Stuff to Blow Your Mind, Roosterteeth Podcast, and The Nerdist (woot Tom Hiddleston's voice). I am enjoying them soooooo much more than Spotify Premium. This discovery has made my work day go by faster and makes me quite happy.

What is something you have discovered (a fact, a new way of doing something, a book, whatever) recently?

I saw someone on Tumblr tag KW as "Dr. Kerry Washington". Do people think that an honorary doctorate is a real thing? Or is KW calling herself "Dr."? I thought people with honorary anythings (doctorates, masters, whatever), aren't supposed to be called by that, since it was given and not earned.

Except for Dr. Stephen T. Colbert, DFA. But even that's satire, so.

I've started several fics, I get to a certain point, and my thoughts just get away from me, or other ideas drown out the plot for what I'm trying to work on. Everything I've tried to draw looks like crap lately too.

The only thing I've finished is a silly ficlet. I have no idea what to do to get out of this funk. I've found in the past whining about it helps sometimes so I decided to try that here.
