6-If yaoi and passionate fans bother you so much, and you can't see past that, Clamp uhh...probably isn't you're thing, period, since it's very loved and laced with tons of homosexual undertones.

But us, as someone not fond of alot of aspects Clamp fandom, I have found a way to get all my fangirls my little Clamp heart can handle and just you know, ignore the bitches. It's amazing how easy it is.

And they're BOTH busy, and they have lives, and while I do believe they have some obligation to the fans.. no matter how much you love a project, it's got to be a little like an axe over your head after a while. Even aside from her book, she's a student herself, so cut her some slack. =/ Lives interfere.

Actually, more than anything, I just curious as to where the background image came from because I like it.

Other than that, angst and woe, honey, angst and woe. There will be scary people in any fandom you get in to, and you just pick your way through to the good spots. If you can't handle that, then fine, piss and moan as much as you want, but I won't feel sorry for you for missing out on the good parts.

I loved Tsubasa, and then around the "alternate Fai and Kurogane fighting a war on the moon" arc, I was like. "Wait, wtf. Why is any of this even happening, I've totally forgotten." It got so convoluted that I personally couldn't follow it; But I adore the art, most of the roleplayers from the fandom were friendly, and in general, I've only heard of one BNF in TRC who actually annoyed anyone.

I emulate what many have said in this post. when I ask "Where is the wank being posted? What are these secrets based on?"

I'm still in high school too, and frankly, there are going to be assholes no matter where you go--regardless of whether or not they're old or young. (I'm going to go out on a limb and say there are plenty of bad experiences I've had in fandom and 99.999% of the time, it was because of an immature high schooler, not a twenty something.)

It's just how you handle it that makes you the better person. Since they make you feel so young and insignificant, maybe it's just because you are, and can't handle it appropriately! 8D

6 ~ There is good in the fandom too. It always makes me so sad to see "FANDOM SCARED ME AWAY" secrets. It's hard for me to understand why you can't just like what you like - who cares if the fandom is full of wank and fanbrats. Find me one that isn't! You just gotta learn to avoid it and life is dandy! ♥ But really, I just hope that you don't give up on things you enjoy because of other people or you'll never survive any fandom.

I couldn't care less if they were 9 or 42, they are still awesome fellow fangirls ♥ and wonderful people. There is no excuse for anyone to treat you differently, regardless of your age.... unless of course you're acting immature and then perhaps you might want to take a look at yourself and ask why people treat you that way?
