5. I read that interview about 5 TIMES looking for something racist. It wasn't racism, it was pride. He never said the Japanese were BETTER than any other race. That's racism. He said the Japanese were great-- that's not racism unless he said they were better. I don't know where everyone is coming up with the racism bullshit.

6. The only time a fandom has every actually pushed me away was that brief period of time I was in the Inu Yasha fandom, but even then the anime and manga had begun losing their hold on me. I'm sorry fandom drove you away, but at the same time, I guess neither series was enthralling enough to keep you holding on and ignoring the fans.

I'd go on about age politics on the internet and shit like that, but really, how does being in fandom ~magically~ become pathetic after you turn 20? Quitting things that are fun and personally rewarding because they're not "cool" is stupid. What exactly qualifies as a productive use of time to you? Sports? Music? Reading?
