Aww, c'mon, OP. Passages like this don't make you wonder?

"If I die, you'll forgive me?" I begged. "In my heart, I liked you well--even when I was the angriest."

"Do not speak of it!" he cried. "Do not--" And he shut his mouth up on a sob. "Let me get you a little water," he said, "and you'll go easier. It's only a little further. Can you walk at all?"

"No," I said, "not without help. This last hour my legs have been fainting under me, and the blood's running free again. Will you forgive me? I'll die easier with your friendship again."

"Oh, lad, say no more about it!" he said, and again he came near sobbing. "We're neither of us to mend the other--that's the truth! We must just bear and forbear, and if you cannot walk I'll carry you."

Yes to Bob's Burgers! I love that show and have been watching reruns. It needs to come back damnit.

I'm not much of a stan for Loki, but watching that movie, damn, Odin treats Thor like sunshine comes out of his ass, and Loki is just a tag along. I don't think all that much is in Loki's head.

I can't imagine being able to like...visit another country for a day. I can't get to the other side of the US in a day.

I have a friend who probably should disown her family. This friend's super screwed up and they're a big part of why.

Just to say, all about characters and fiction, not involving me and it makes me uncomfortable in real life.

But Omorashi. (Bladder desperation). And not in a sexual way. Just descriptions about how much the character has to go and how it's affecting their tasks/what they're doing that day does it for me.

And in a ship way, the character having to go and going across the other person and trying to keep it from them because it's embarrassing and it's not like they'are a little kid who can't hold it. Or C2 helping by distracting C1 (like trapped in an elevator), or helping them hide it from other people, especially if it gets too the... release stage.

I also like scenarios if C2 tries to keep C1 from the bathroom to see them squirm (depending on their characterization)

It's the weirdest thing since I'm so vanilla.

Donna and Amy are my favorites, but I like all of the Doctor Who companions that I've seen (haven't seen any of Classic Who).

Gwen is a different story, but then I really couldn't stand anyone on Torchwood (sorry) so it wasn't like she was singled out.

Not that hard, actually. The hardest part for me was actually getting over being self-aware, but the movement itself sort of came naturally. And I had a double-ended one back in the day, so I did have feedback.

The hip-thrust is a bit different than if you're having piv sex, but it's not an unnatural movement.

As always though, too much lube is better than too little.

Yup, agreed. Like, I get that for some people it satisfies other, non-sexual needs. But for me it is purely sexual. And yes, totally training to have to run someone else's life.

Depends on the way you do it. What you've said thus far has you sounding exactly like the kind of bitter-over-men, resentful-of-children mother that rabid MRAs whine about growing up with in their forums. Those types of guys come from somewhere, after all.

The pterodactyl joke is one of my all-time favorites! :)

Hm, I am looking forward to Antman. Because I thought Captain America 2 and GOTG were going to be terrible but Marvel surprised me (greatly).

And not sure how I feel about WoW. I have not played in forever but new models! New, awesome looking Undead.

Ha, yes! Plus - that's kinda like having a toddler or something. Just...not my thing.

You live in KC? Juco is a good school. Wish I'd not dicked around so much there.

I like that. "Hear her tale and weep, for she was stoned by her brethren and buried at the gate for being a four-eyes." Cue violins.

The Professor Layton/Phoenix Wright game, even though I'm probably not going to buy it unless there's a sale oh well.

I am looking at the Sims 2 right now and I'm so close to launching it. It's going to happen any moment now! Just as soon as I watch this episode of stuff and read a chapter of thing. Soon! My procrastination is a way of building up anticipation maybe hopefully!

I'm excited for the upcoming Person of Interest season!

And in other stuff, I'm going to relish the day I quit my job as soon as my job search turns up fruitful. I just have a good feeling it's going to be soon! Even if not soon, I'm still having fun looking and interviewing.

eta: oh goodness me I almost forgot that The Blacklist has a second season I'm going to hate watch! The first was so shit, I can't wait!

Huh. I hadn't thought that you would get that much information transmitted through it (I guess I figured the material would be too dense or something). Interesting. :)

The doc knew about the bc, so I can only assume that it's not an issue. Thanks, though.

[personal profile] elaminator 2014-08-28 01:32 am (UTC)(link)
Yea, there WERE a few in the Nolanverse, and those were still pretty dark films at times, so I'm terribly confused as to how you would make entire films without any jokes whatsoever. Or why you would want that, even.

I unfortunately at this point kind of resent Antman because of the whole Janet kerfuffle around it, she was the only reason I was interested in seeing it at all, and now that I know she's not going to be in it I really can't bring myself to care about it. Maybe I'll feel different when I see a trailer but atm I'm very much 'meh' on that movie.

I don't even like undead and I think their models are sweet, they look so cool! I am ofc looking the most forward to the Night Elf and Draenei ladies, so good, wants them now.

Re: Disowning your family

[personal profile] quirkytizzy 2014-08-28 01:33 am (UTC)(link)
Yes. My mother and stepfather. I have not seen nor spoken to them in years. I do not ask other family members how they are and I cut people off if they try to give me any information about them, their health, or anything else. I have absolutely, positively no interest in anything having to do with them.
BEST DECISION EVER.

Seriously. I'm not even sure if I'll attend their funerals.

Yeah, that's so. I can understand wanting to support your cousins and sister, that's something i would want to do. Sorry you have to deal with so much drama and stress, but i'm glad you're not 'run here and help me!' close.

Pumpkin coffee from Dunkin comes out on Monday, super excited for that. Also, the last Heroes of Olympus book comes out in October.
