1. I usually don't watch Digimon (obvious why), but I think that season was ok even though I never finished it (It might be better if Renamon wasn't in it, I don't like how alot of people fap to her...). I liked Frontier more.

2. Agreed. They don't do anything for me either. But! The MCR and PatD fandoms are by NO means the beginning and end of bandom on the net. They're just some of the bigger groups. Don't give up! We're out there!

4. I think it's unlikely that YOU and ONLY YOU are responsible for your friend's change, imho. Watching Gravitation may have just been the final domino in a long, long chain of events. My sister went through something similar with her best friend, and though she was very distraught about what started happening to him and what she did to "cause" it, she resolved that the best thing she could do for him was to be there for him through his turmoil, as best she could, wherever he'd allow her. That was almost 10 years ago. They've been best, best friends ever since. Consider this the end of a beginning.

1. I liked Tamers for a lot of reasons, the kids actually did shit instead of hiding behind a rock all the time for one. They were useful for more than having personal epiphanies to power up their Digimon partners.

I just have no idea why my interest in the Digimon anime waned during Tamers, though. :/ I guess it was around that time that I watched TV less and I stopped watching midseason as a result of that.

Also, I am ashamed that it took me years to figure out the origins of Renamon's name.

10. Deb is amazing. I especially liked the way the writers had her deal with the ice truck killer: the constant exercise, the turmoil in her eyes, how she would flip out occasionally. She's a terrific and very real character. (I only hope she can make it work with Lundy, I really liked them together.)

Yes, I've been corrected several times in the comments, and I should have rephrased it. Sorry.

And I dunno, I'm just not really interested in a game whose point is that "yay we can make something boring not boring!" They could make a game about eating mayonnaise, and it could be the best game ever, but I still don't want to play it because I still hate mayonnaise.

I think it's great that other people are interested in it. They seem to be having a great time. It just isn't my thing in any capacity.

NS 1 - ...Not so much? I love Eight and Charley, I prefer them to the Nine-Ten and Rose, but no companion is "the only one he ever loved". The man is over a millennium old, has hearts the size of stars, and has long accepted change being the only constant in his life. Saying this of someone other than Rose doesn't make you any less irrational.

19 - You do realise that two people being in love doesn't mean everything they do is ONLY for said love, yes? It doesn't cancel out everything else, for their relationship or beliefs.

4. As someone else said, you are probably not the cuase of this. It's likely that there was already something there existing long before, and that reading he manga just brought it to the surface. At the risk of sounding preachy and condescening, I don't think that there's any reason to feel guilty, but I think the best thing to do is to support him emotionally as a friend (although, I get the feeling that you're doing that already, so I'll shut up now).

4. Oh, you and your friend both have my sympathies. ;_; You shouldn't feel like it's your fault, though... you couldn't have known it would happen. And it may have just been that Gravitation happened to be the catalyst that made him wonder - maybe something else would have done it, if he hadn't read that.

I hope everything comes out all right for him. :(

14. Haha, at the risk of that whistling sound being your point flying over my head, I'd just like to mention that the Phoenix Wright games are 30x more interesting than the concept. I know, it sounds so weird - a lawyer game? - but I promise the actual games are really brilliant and fun and exciting.

That said... I've heard good things about Odin Sphere, and your secret makes me want to try it more. :)

Yeah, I've heard the same thing in other comments, but to capture my point with a butterfly net and show you its pretty colors (sorry, running with your metaphor, not trying to sound like a jerk), it's just not my thing at all. If lots of people enjoy it, that's great for them. I'd just like to see a game that I enjoyed get similar attention.

And I'm glad that you're interested! It's really wonderful! Er...at least, I thought it was. Maybe you'll feel differently? I'd don't know, but it's worth a shot!
