11. You might be surprised how many wouldn't mind or would at least be understanding about it. Depends on who you're hanging out with, I suppose.

20. Pre-op transsexuals have to go through psychological screening, so wouldn't that sort of thing have been picked up if the person is just 'confused?'

14. I've heard every side of the argument and I think it has nothing to do with love., selfishness or anything like that. He choose to deal with the immediate danger over the long term one. Reinette was going to die right then, and not only die, but fuck time up too. Mickey and Rose at least had the Tardis to live off off and would have figured out something. He probably wasn't all "I love Reinette, bah forget them!" He was more moving on an impulse to save someone. God look how I ramble.

Plenty of men transition to female and are then lesbians. It is still quite legitimate is a woman were to transition to male and yet be gay. Assuming this is what you are implying is the case.

Now, some people fool around with transsexualism because of unrelated identity issues, true. But don't write it off as "just confusion" necessarily, just because they're not transitioning to het, or some typical male stereotype.

43 - Glad to see you don't even play the game first before you decide which characters should be sleeping together. What really sold you on them first, the interactions you never saw? The characters you didn't watch develop? Or were they just "really hot" together and everyone who's anyone thinks they're gay?

I mean, why formulate your own opinion on them and their relationship while you're playing the game yourself? Who even does that? Heck, no one has time for that anymore. After all, all you really need is a wiki article or a plot outline or a hot picture to really understand two character's dynamic. You'll fit right in, we have people writing fic who have never played the game all the time. We're such a nice fandom no one ever calls anyone on it.

10. Link was definitely my childhood boyfriend after OoT came out. We flirted during Link to the Past and all, but it wasn't until OoT that we made it official. (In my defense, I didn't write creepy self-insert fanfic about my wild tiger sex adventures with him AAH SCARRED FOR LIFE)

23. I thought all the romance in Harry Potter was thrown together and awkward. Harry/Cho, Ron/Lavender, Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione -- it was all rushed and stuck in at the last minute.

38. I didn't cry, but I did fall off the couch and make loud noises and yell "IT'S ABOUT FUCKING TIME".

41. I don't hate Mai. She can be a badass. She was pretty annoying in Book 2 when every word out of her mouth was a complaint, but she hasn't been complaining as much in Book 3 (probably because she is getting laid). Maiko makes me laugh because it is so awkward but I can't take it seriously or stand to watch it because as a really awkward person myself, I feel awkward for the characters onscreen and it just makes me criiiinge.

That and I think Mai and Ty Lee would be much hotter. ♥

Ron/Hermione -- it was all rushed and stuck in at the last minute.

....Except Ron/Hermione has been developing heavily since book two. Five books=last minute? It was foreshadowed heavily in books two and three and their feelings became blatant in four. Harry/Cho was first foreshadowed in book three (so he had been crushing on her two years) and if it seems rushed then it was successful in it's purpose- which was to be an awkward and unsuccessful relationship for Harry. Ron/Lavender was once again, intentionally rushed because it wasn't a "real" relationship as much as a shallow physical one.

Me too! I love that movies to bits and pieces, and I have ever since I saw it. I'm an atheist, too, but ... I dunno, I like Biblical stories. Also, it's just amazingly well done. And the music is so lovely!

6. I think dreams often contain very intense emotions. I know I've had dreams where things that would normally be insignificant become incredibly intimate and important. Since dream-feelings are so concentrated (in my experience, anyway), I wouldn't hold them up as an achievable ideal, myself. I think they kind of require the personal, self-centred environment you get in dreams where everything seems to have layers and layers of meaning.
