4. Man, my parents love that woman so I kind of grew up knowing who she was.

5. Romana was kind of awesome. I haven't heard anything about her being brought back. I know that there's speculation that the Rani's going to be in season 4 but I haven't really seen any confirmation of that except seeing some brief clips in the season 4 trailer that could possibly indicate her return.

23. Yuffie was kind of annoying to the point that while I don't dislike her, it's very hard to like her. The bitch stole my Materia. Selphie was just adorable.

26. I'm a nice well adjusted person with a life outside of fandom and it's always been that way. Fandom for me is a small little hobby of mine.

43. I love both Rose & Martha. They're different and great in their uniqueness. The fact that all people want to do is bash one while loving the others is really ridiculous.

13. Maybe because it's so hard to find nice long manhair IRL? It's not that it doesn't exist--just that most guys aren't willing to have a hair care regimen that would make them seem girly. And let's be honest. Outside of certain Western subcultures and East Asian celebrities, there isn't much love for feminine-looking men.

15. I listen to The Unicorns when I write. Or O-Zone, and I write angst a lot. It rarely gets posted, but that's beside the point. I UNDERSTAND.

21. RPS is scary when you take it outside the realm of fantsy, that's why people don't like it. D= It's OK to go "haha, they'd make a great couple", but like... if you got all mad about MYV and Daigo Stardust being an item (or seeming to be one whenever that was, I don't keep up) and wanted them to break up, that'd be scary. And this is why RPS people get looked down on.

Seriously! I'm not into longhaired guys IRL because NONE OF THEM TAKE CARE OF THEIR HAIR. Just about every long-haired guy I have ever known is content to let it get greasy and nappy and just put it back in a ponytail. If you're not going to care for it, just cut it, plz.

Okay, exception: a tremendously beautiful asian-american singer from a local band that I used to see when I was in high school. He was sopretty ;_;

9 - I've never read the books, I know absolutely nothing about the actors in question... but please tell me that those aren't the guy's real lips in that picture. o___o

14 - I STILL love DBZ. Of course, from the summaries released I don't think I want to see the movie because it is way too scary, but there's nothing wrong with DBZ geeking!

16 - HELL YES. FFX is my sentimental favorite because it was a fandom of mine, but 9 is such a close second that there's practically no difference.

23 - Maybe it's because Selphie and Rikku are /nice/, and Yuffie is a brat? I mean, they're all cut from the same cloth, but Yuffie tends to be a lot meaner and the other two aren't unless it's an accident? In any case, I totally feel the same way. XDD

Personally, IRL it depend on WHO has the long hair, as to whether it looks good or not. If it's kept up, etc. Yeah, the biker with the long, greasy split ends doesn't look good, but I've known guys with pretty long hair.

And why? Because when you're designing 10+ characters, if you're limited to "short" styles (And by your inclusion of like...Mello, you want damned short) it gets pretty repetitive. Specially in a black and white manga, where your colors are white, gray, and black. Plus a good chunk of those character are influenced by history, and the styles of the time period it's in.

I see... you have a good point. I never did think about that. But there are still tons of hairstyles with short hair.

But the time period thing confuses me, I don't see many animes where they really have time-period appropriate hairstyles. *coughhigurashicough*

To the OP of 37 -

I'm perfectly happy to read your opinion on said art. Heck, I would like to thank you, because reading through the comments on this is the first time I've had any crit on what is BAD/NEEDS IMPROVEMENT about the pic, rather than the usual 'cute' and such (I'm sure you're aware, with the amount of people on DA, crit isn't given out much). So at least now I've gotten some insite into the colouring, anatomy, shapes and 'orange boobs'. X3

However, it's typical fashion to complain about things like this on DA and that's something I'll just never understand. Of course the amount of faves and comments and views on a picture rarely reflect the quality of the piece itself. If they did, there may (although I say that lightly) be less complaints on things that make the main page each day. I simply draw what I like for fun (that above picture, for example, was a gift to Ashelin's Voice Actress, which she did like in the end when I gave it to her).

I can understand your anger towards the amount of attention on my work over Luna's (I actually watch her and very much enjoy her art - both Jak themed and others. She's a very talented artist in my eyes) but if you're so very much into her work getting out there, why are you not going around sharing it to the rest of the net? people seem to spend more time complaining about the 'popular' people on DA and how bad they are, instead of going out and trying to support and introduce more people to the better stuff out there.

I'm no stranger to the fact that my art is pretty bland and bad. It's why I take crit when I can get it these days, because it can help (it's just rare to get. I fear people think that because I'm popular, I or my followers won't take it).

In any case, I do think Luna deserves more attention. It's hard to get now in a slowly dying fandom (one would hope that ends if NDI does go back to Jak, now that they've started talking about a Jak for the PS3 now that Uncharted's first game is done, but we shall see). Prehaps you should have posted a link to her DA account in your secret, if only to promote her more? :3
