3. I know exactly how you feel. I don't mean necessarily with those particular people - though I confess a bit of intimidation when I first joined the fandom! - but just looking up to extremely talented fandom writers/artists/whatever and feeling like they're on such a higher lever than you that you could never produce something that they'd like or think is good.

But honestly... everyone in fandom is just a person. Nothing more. And we're all here to share our love of something, and share our fan works.

Are you proud of your writing? Do you think it's good, and worth sharing? If so, that should be the only thing you need to know. If you like it and you're happy with it, post it!

Your icon <333 Also, I know the feeling you are describing here as well, but I pretty much agree with the statement that we are all here to share our love of something, and it's not like you are going to make any progress sitting around and moping because your stuff isn't up to par. Seriously...I need to take my own advice here XD

Besides, someone out there somewhere will love what you posted, and there's such satisfaction in bringing that someone joy by just doing what you love to do. So write away OP 3!

13. I think it's *because* long hair usually doesn't work in real life, so it must therefore be overrepresented in drawings. If girls want long-haired guys, that's the easiest place to find them.

It is sad when players fall away for personal reasons, but I'm sorry to say it must have happened for a reason and just because they aren't a couple anymore doesn't mean that the feelings they shared in the past are suddenly invalid. Feelings change, but that doesn't mean what existed was a lie or you shouldn't have believed in them when it did exist.

Frankly, RP > OOC issues and it's their business, no-one else's at all (lol hypocrite for commenting on it, I know) and I do worry when people put their fandom interests before that of people's feelings.

But really, it could have a lot to do with the subject matter.. Maybe some people just don't like girls hugging..? (If you've noticed, Keysha-chan also gets flack for when she draws two girls cuddling/being close as well, so that's pretty much truth.) Whereas when the character is alone (and there are a lot of other factors as to why she's so popular, for instance, anime fans flock to her style, not to mention all of the other fandoms she draws for. Jak may have been her big one for a while, but, it's changed up.. Even I didn't start watching her because of her Jak artwork.. It was FFX..), more people go for that kind of thing.

I could understand if you were comparing two pictures where it's the character alone, but one has what could be represented as femslash, and... Maybe some people just aren't into that and would rather go for the other one instead?
