I wrote a webcomic that put yaoi in a negative light; and then had my characters be hypocrites and vastly enjoy yaoi that involved three characters they enjoyed. I make it a point to have a positive and a negative for a variety of things I write about.

Despite a huge disclaimer that stated I only was truly squicked by underage / m-preg, I still managed to get the fantards you speak of to aggro onto me. They happily ignored the description; which even stated openly I enjoyed yuri. Despite that, the "homophobic!" word flew out.

What I mean to say: That comic did allow me have nice debates with people just like you. So I firmly believe they exist, and you have my sympathies.

Everyone that knows me knows I'm hardcore House/Wilson, but I'll admit that the Stacy arc was amazing. It shows that House does have the capacity to love someone if he really wants. The interaction between the three of them was very well-written. You can see how they are each dealing with it in their own ways.

Word. :/ That's why I loved yaoi_rants so much, it was a place for yaoi and non-yaoi fans alike to vent about the crappy parts of the genre but didn't give off that "hating is KEWL!!!" or "why are we so OPPRESSED!!!" vibe the antiyaoi comms give off. And fandom hate comms ARE a waste of time in my opinion.
