While I agree that there's more to Death Note than the pairings, and that the plot is the point...I think the point of the plot was that you can't have that kind of power without being corrupted, and that trying to change the world into a utopia is nonsensical and wrong. I know a lot of people in fandom agreed with Kira, but if his being right were the point of the series, his downfall would have been handled differently.

GEEZ. The reason that Kingdom Hearts is so damn popular is because it's a joint deal between Disney and Square Enix. Of course that sort of thing is going to draw attention!

You wanna know why Vagrant Story is so underappreciated? It's the only Ivalice game that doesn't have "Final Fantasy" in its title. That's it. Plain and simple. FFT, FFTA, FFTA2, FFXII, FFXII: RW... Vagrant Story is the only exception.

So before you start cursing a game's character designer, try thinking first -_-

What bugs me more than anything is how everyone hails FFXII for its deep, political story when Vagrant Story has XII beaten in that department easily. That has nothing to do with character designers.

Just because someone hails FFXII for it's story doesn't mean they're insulting VS's? I like FFXII for the same reasons I like Vagrant Story - it's ridiculous to assume that everyone who likes FFXII is ignoring Vagrant Story, since most people who are big fans of one of them has probably played the other.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I don't get why the FFXII fanbase is more ignorant of Vagrant Story than Kingdom Hearts is? A lot of FFXII fans are fans of the rest of the Ivalice games, whereas KH has a very different fanbase.

I feel rather ridiculous right now, and apologize to all Higurashi fans and people who know what psychopathic means. I'm sorry. I do know what the difference is (most of the time), and I'm usually the one to call down other people for making that mistake. Yay for hypocrisy?

No, Mion is not psychopathic. And, in fact, neither is Nny. "Psychotic" really would be the better word for Mion's sometimes-craziness, but it didn't occur to me at the time. I didn't really think that one out, did I?

Oh, no, I don't. You're just the unfortunate target of my rant; I'm not as angry as I sound, honest. People make mistakes. :) I can see why you'd get it mixed up because they're very similar words, and pop culture has been seen to confuse the two (much like schizophrenia and dissociative identity disorder).
