15: It became cliche as soon as she walked through those doors. Even if it was joked about, everything was a cliche masked as a 'joke'. I still ship Tamaki/Haruhi. But now with the way the manga is going, I just wish she'd end up with nobody. I'd like one big open ending. I only like it for the characters anyway.

35: I always think the same thing to myself sometimes. It would have been so awesome if he hadn't gone power crazy. The world would have been a better place. But I'd be too chicken to go through with it myself.

Hah hah! It seems to be the nature of fandom. People see what they want to see and like what they want to like. Standards and expectations in fandom are different.

Stop worrying about it and just make sure you review what you think is the good stuff. Good writers will appreciate it (and I've generally found they're the ones who always reply and always react well to polite critique).

4) Bad fanfic is AMAZING, so long as you don't take your fanfic too seriously. Personally, I'd like to think that badfic and shipfics are mutually exclusive sets. Bad shipfics belong in the badfic (read: lulz) category.

29 - That's actually really interesting. I was there when the show first started airing. I loved (and still do love) Ahiru/Mythos, and that fandom made me feel so unwelcome that I left and never looked back. It was one of the least pleasant fandom experiences that I've ever had.

I really try not to be bitter about it--after all, there have been many times I haven't loved the fandom OTP, and it's really not fair to blame it on the fandom. But the rampant bashing was just too much for me, and even remembering it right now I still cringe a little.

...woah, they was Mytho/Ahiru bashing before? I wouldn't know as I love Princess Tutu but stay in my own internet corner for the most part. From what I saw, it seems there are a few fans of the pairing that just feel like they're supporting it quietly compared to the powerhouse of Fakir/Ahiru but, seriously, Ahiru/Mytho was sort of the groundwork of the series. How can you hate that?

If it's any consolation to you I know plenty of people who support both and those like me who actually might like it better. They are too sweet to dislike.
