1. The fandom for VS actually buffed up the citations to my recent analytical paper on the game's music and lent it academic credibility.

4. I know EXACTLY what you mean. Though I've never run across a fic bad enough to make me want to leave a fandom or pairing completely... kind of a "I'll come back when there's better fics" thing.

14. WATCH IT. I started watching for the same reason, and after just a couple episodes I fell in love with the series as a whole. I'll tell you now though: House and Wilson live together in season 3, and early on in season 4, House says "I love you." to Wilson, but probably only because Wilson upped House's prescription to Vicoden. doesn't stop fangirls from going "WHEEE!"

16+17: lol at arrangement. But seriously, on 16: I did the same thing with Rent. Nobody minded. You will probably see the play, join the fandom, and find that every other Sweeney fan hates the movie. *shrug* My advice is to just go with the flow.

24. Okay, it's fans like YOU that annoy me. Seeing yourself in a character or feeling inspired by a character is fine! Naruto's great at it! But killing yourself or dying because a character you identified with dies in the canon?! GET A LIFE!

31. HOLY SHIT I REMEMBER THAT!! I have not read or seen that since I was a child! I LOVED the Amelia series!! :DDD (Got me into 'journaling' as a kid. Doodled lots too. Sadly, I lacked her amazing wit) I think I had 3 or 4 of them...

3) I don't think it makes you a bad fan at all. I don't intend on playing any of the new ones, because I think that the last one ended it pretty damn well. It was a great concept initially, and on through KH2, but all continuing it's gonna do is make it the new never-ending series with...well, old Final Fantasy characters.

40) ...The secret alone made me happy enough, and I totally agree, but the screencap... xD Love and win.

45) They're out there. Just keep looking. :3 I'm sure you'll find one eventually.

34 - Phil and Keely?! FUCK YEAH! I was so sad that they canceled that show--WHY COULDN'T THEY HAVE AXED 'THAT'S SO RAVEN'?! D: Srsly. That show gets way too much air time. Phil of the Future was the one show I really enjoyed on Disney channel, and they freaking let it go.

So sad. Phil/Keely = So. Fucking. Adorable. ^o^

40-Wow! Every time I hear someone mention FFIX, it's to say they hate it! I absolutely ADORE IX. I thought I was just biased because it was the first FF I ever played, but after going back and playing others...I still come right back to FF9--I actually care about ALL the characters rather than just a handful like in the others, esp. VII. Just...gah, nothing I've seen so far tops 9. Not even KH (KH2 doesn't really even begin to compare--I found it far more boring than the first game. D:). I think the only other RPG I've enjoyed just as much as FFIX is Odin Sphere.

On that note--why does Odin Sphere have such a tiny fandom!? XD

Nah, you may not know me but I know people who know you and have seen you around because you can almost count the number of Dennou Coil fans on f!s on two hands ;(

But it's very nice and cozy, isn't it? My hope is just that it eventually matures (in the "grows larger" sense) and becomes as awesome as the Princess Tutu one. Even years after it's aired there are regular posts in the comm and people having so much sentiment for the show that there's secret santa gift exchanges and shiz.

However, I am a lazy ass ;o;

1 & 5: OH MY GOD NOT ONE BUT TWO VS REFERENCES, I COULD DIE OF GLEE. Seven years later, VS is still one of my favourite games ever. I was in fandom for it, briefly, but by the time I was entering fandom, it was basically dead.

1. I don't quite understand what you mean by complete. The story itself is just a beginning to the tales you could tell. There are still puzzles in the plot, things to be figured out. Speculations to be made. If I were still in the fandom, I would still be making them.

5. I know exactly what you mean. I enjoy the KH series, but in terms of quality and beauty, Vagrant Story has it beaten pretty badly.

24. He's not dead. Some post-series material has him alive. One's a picture, the other is a statement that he was picked up by a passing ship. If you'd care to extend the metaphor, go right ahead. The only reasons to give up hope are reasons YOU conjure.

3. You're not a bad fan at all. The argument could be made, in fact, that Nomura's development team hasn't done a very good job of hiding how much money they're hoping to make from the "FFVII" Business Plan (TM & (C) SE).

5. It's not fair but it's sadly the way things turn out. I'm sure the inevitable "Vagrant Story" PSP remake with a billion "FFXII" characters and optional quests will address the balance...

That is the show I really would watch when my kid isn't even here! I wish they had a DVD with more than a few episodes. But maybe I can catch up just watching it on Disney.
