15. That is EXACTLY how I feel. I tried to explain it to my sister, (she's a rabid TamaHaru shipper and is always bitching at my for liking HikaHaru better.) but she just doesn't get that for some people it's just... really boring, when the main character ends up with the obvious guy. And honestly, I like him better as her "daddy". Their interaction is adorable... on a friendly level.

For me, it's not even about main guy/main girl being obvious (I don't mind main guy/main girl when it's done well). It's about how Tamaki's romantic interest in Haruhi seems to revolve around his chauvinist fantasies of her being a perfect beautiful girly girl for him to woo, not her actual adorable clever deadpan genderqueer self. Now, Tamaki actually does seem to get along with her beautifully when they're both just being themselves and he's being kind and supportive, but the romance mostly seems to be about how Haruhi needs to be a girly girl and Tamaki her manly savior. :/ He's a sweet guy, but he's also kind of sexist. When he's being Haruhi's friend, the "sweet guy" part comes through most; but when he's trying to be Haruhi's boyfriend, the "sexist" part comes through most.

1. I've seen a lot of wonderful fan art of Vagrant Story that just brings the game to life even more.

5. I agree. While I do like Kingdom Hearts, I'd rather pick up Vagrant Story for a second or third time (I think I'm on my fourth play through) than KH.

40. I think they need to do something more then just the shiny graphics. Final Fantasy IX went back to the Steam Punk idea and they even had a different artist. I agree...they won't top IX.

15. Even thought I like Tamaki and Haruhi has a pairing, I sort of agree with your point about the cliches. It WOULD be more surprising/out of the ordinary to have her end up with, say, Kyouya or one of the twins or...even more so Honey or Mori. So I guess part of me would like to see another pairing, too, although I'd be happy with Tamaki/Haruhi as well.

Seriously, people who believe this so strongly are mentally sick. I can understand have a vague desire for this sort of world, or feeling conflict over the whole situation, but yeah. A whole-hearted endorsement of it is just fucking pathetic. I don't know why some people love having themselves robbed of choice and the ability to think for themselves (because that's basically what this is about. Let Daddy Kira take care of you, so that you never have to question what's right or wrong again! Just do what he says and you won't be killed!), but my only conclusion can be that they're too weak to deal with the world.

I agree that it's kind of embarassing to tell people you haven't seen the play (although I discovered the play through Jersey Girl and not the Burton film) and have them stick up their richeous hog noses in the air out of superiority. Loved that movie anyways, regardless of bitchy fans thinking I'm a Burton-fag for enjoying it.

a) no, we don't. We really DON'T. In fact, we don't eat pumpkin much at all. It's more for spectacularly rural vegetable competitions and hacking to pieces at Halloween, which I think we imported anyway. So yah.

you're not a bad fan. the same thing happend to me after kh2 came out. maybe because they took the nice simplicity away from the sory that gave it it's charm in the first ne, and now all these sequels and prequels are like some faux kind of depth it really didn't need? idk. KH1 will always be my favourait.
And KH2 is behind it.

To be honest, I'm more interested in playing Birth by Sleep than the Organization one for the DS.

1) I'm curious about the connections between it and the other KH games (like Terra...the current theories on him make me very interested to see how right/wrong they are.

2) The Disney aspect. Since all the 'original' characters in Birth By Sleep are new (at least, I'm thus assuming so) and there's a lot of Disney worlds apparently (and things like, because this is the past, Hercules is going to be his teenage self make me all the more excited). But since the characters are new, they're not going to hog the spotlight as much (I hope?) and so the Disney half of the game should stand out more, like it did in the original Kingdom Hearts game. I love KH2, but I feel the Disney side got lost with so many new characters to the game franchise with both it and COM (wow...13 organization members, plus Namine and Diz and...yeah. XD). Hopefully I can enjoy a game with a nice mix of Disney and Square.

3) I still love the organization, but a large number of their fans terrify me these days, and it's hard to find characters appealing when they remind you of a lot of bad things. Though I'll still be definatly playing it (I'm curious to see how one fights with a Sitar. X3)

4) Prequel makes a nice change from sequel, just this once, I mean. X3

..funny how not many people are interested in the the phone game, coded (though I'm not surprised).

TL;DR: I will definatly play both, but Birth by Sleep catches my eye more at this moment. X3
