6 - On my list, but haven't got to it yet. I'll cry myself to sleep knowing some anonymous person on the inter-tubes doesn't think I'm a real fan. No really... I will. :/ Also, pick a font and commit to it.

18 - I just can't see them as a pairing. I haven't the foggiest notion where that notion comes from.

35 - You are so NOT the only one who thinks this.

39 - Sondheim was deeply involved in the movie, so, I think you're okay. While I was waaaay less then impressed, it doesn't make me a "true" any thing. I think perhaps the ability to sing the entire score of Into the Woods up tempo makes me a true Sondheim fan. :) Or maybe just weird.

The anime killed all the subtext, alas! Frankly, most manga fans hate it because it rapes ALL the characters and fucks with their relationships.

Also, liking two men in a romantic pairing (which is basically canon in the manga IMO) doesn't demean male friendships any more than throwing Fai with Chii demeans male/female friendships.

How come I can't appreciate platonic relationships just 'cause I ship KuroxFai? :S

Have you read Assassination Vacation by Sarah Vowell? It sounds like it would fill you with a similar nerdish squee with which it consumed me. She treks about to assassination-related historical sites and references Assassins many times.

44. AGREED. Honestly, I can't must up the enthusiasm or energy for long fics most of the time. Drabbles and oneshots are great and I support them heartily. They're um...also all I can write myself.

After watching Clamp giggle over the mention of it when asked about it at AX, and say it's "the relationship for the adults" ....

...as far as I'm concerned it IS canon. Even if they don't outright say it. Which, as damn canon as Touya and Yukito are, I'm petty sure they also never outright say it. In fact in Tsubasa canon they have just as much behind them as Fai/Kuro)

Srsly, do authors have to smack us over the head with a concept so people get it or what?

I'm kind of torn on this. On one hand, I feel that it's only proper to read the books if you liked the series at all, since for any series even vaguely based on a book or books, that's what's supposed to be the heart and soul of the characters and story as a whole. I do have to admit that I've been reluctant to start the third book (Partially because I don't want to shell out the money for a hardcover edition right now and partially because of the awful things I've heard about it.).

On the other hand, Micheal C. Hall is awesome. Daaamn. Also I don't think that there is a single person on the planet who actually likes Lila as a character. Fanservice, yes. Character, oh dear lord shut the hell up and go have another awkward nude scene already.

4. Of course they're canon. Touya and Yukito are soul mates. Yukito flat out admits that Touya is his special person and Touya sacrifices his power for Yukito/Yue.

btw, why do you consider Touya/Yukito canon when all they had was Yukito admitting his feelings to Sakura and Touya giving up his power to save Yukito. And don't consider Kurogane/Fay canon when it had Fay admitting his feelings to Yuuko and Kurogane giving up his arm to save Fay?

Especially the Companion Cube shit! It was one stupid level and there are many many more that are much funnier and more detailed, but people just latch onto the memes and say it over and over and over and it's not funny anymoooooore.

Also it'd be nice if people talked about the rest of the Orange Box sometimes too! Episode Two was some of the most fun I've had with an FPS in a while, yet no one seems to care! Speaking of, your keywords made me lol more than I should.
