I stopped and thought about your message for a while, OP; I've been on both sides of the equation, involved with someone who was addicted to a game a long time ago and now a WoW player myself.

Guys could be saying the same thing about us, y'know. "I hate anime and manga, because it represents thousands of girls who could be interesting, but would rather talk about their favorite characters and the OMG RP wank."

It's a shame your ex couldn't balance his time inside and outside Azeroth a little better...my heart's with ya, sister. :(

When I first got into KH2, I shipped Axel and Roxas romantically, but now... I really have to agree with you. I genuinely prefer seeing them having a beautiful friendship - and those new Final Mix scenes were the reason WHY I changed my mind about the pairing.

I see where the shippers are coming from, definitely. And I know that I'll get shit if I say that making it romantic or sexual makes it less beautiful, but that's MY opinion. And it is really the reason why I can't get into KH fandom anymore.

15: Me, too! I was going to post that myself but I couldn't find a picture I really liked on short notice. Hannibal Lecter has inspired me to upgrade my kitchen utensils, too, heh! And there is a fandom, or at least there was a few years ago. Don't give up!!
