26. When it comes to a certain comic I love, I just wish I had someone to talk about it with. People I meet IRL and online don't know it and then I end up just telling them about it. They don't see for themselves. :/

On a similar note. My OTP I went like mad searching the internet for it. Gave up and then drew pictures of them non-stop. But after awhile. . .it gets old. I know how the drawing will turn out when I am done. I can see it done before I am done. :/ I want to see other people's interpretations of it and such.

I feel the same way. I don't hate her by any means, but I hate how her potential as a character went to waste. One of the things I like about Phoenix Wright's "sugary sweet" characters is that, love them or hate them, they usually either have enough apparent flaws to give them a personality or eventually learn the hard way about the bitter taste of reality.

Iris could have fallen into either of those slots, and if she did, it was an honest to god "blink and miss it" moment. I understand and respect that the creators don't feel the need to tie everything up in a perfect little package in order to allow the fans room for interpretation, but given that this was THE EPIC FINALE, and given Iris's vital role to the plot, I expected a great deal more than what they had to offer.

Still, I liked and understood her better than I did Terry Fawles. And a majority of T&T, for that matter. Sigh.

37. That's a bit strange, only in that I feel a bit outcasted for liking Syaoran over Kurogane or Fai. I keep to myself when it comes to Tsubasa because all the people I do find are more into the dynamics between Kurogane and Fai.

See, that's kind of my problem. It's all those KF shippers making you feel outcast because they're all OMFGYAOIWHEE!!1!!11 Because they give most people the impression that a lot of the people who ship that are like that, and well... we're not. Most KF shippers are sane people who actually love the WHOLE series, believe it or not.

I begin to wonder if I'm the only one who finds Lelouch's douchebaggery as endearing as him tripping over small shrubs. Why does no one hate Lulu for being the bitch he is?

Oh, I know Lulu's a bitch. I'm not sure exactly why C.C. bothers me. I usually like the "bitch"-type characters. I think it's the way she's often excused of it, where people seem to adore it in Lelouch. I rather like the way they highlight Lulu's descent from serious-but-not-mean to fucking-crazy-and-cruel. C.C. on the other hand get to be the comforting character even though she stirs things up. I think it's less the using people and more the way she gets them to think she's not.

I mean, when Lulu's conscience kicks in and he wants to stop and try to fix things, she basically tells him "too bad, get over it, your feelings don't matter, keep going." But then, she has no problem pointing out that he isn't really fighting for a cause other than his own revenge. So she picks him up and slams him down again to get him to go in the direction she wants, and is partly responsible for his increasing mental instability. From a storyline perspective this is a good thing, but it doesn't make for a likable character, IMO.

Still, that is just a single interpretation of it, so it's probably skewed by my own personal experience and whatnot.

3 - Really, cosplaying is what did it? The BAWWWWWWWW-factor with your friend wasn't enough, but cosplaying did it? That is possibly the single most retarded thing I have ever read. Epic fail is you. =p

Srsly, hating on cosplay is rather like hating on fanart and fanfics--no one starts off perfect, and they take time to get right, but they're all worthwhile hobbies.

17 - I'd watch that--at least I'd have a better chance of remembering the movies. The movies after CoS have been so godawful boring for me, I can't even be arsed to remember them--I'll take Miyazaki's canon-altering to the various directors who have obvious crushes on Emma Watson, and thus give her a majority of lines that belong to everyone else. =p

30 - My condolences for your butthurt. >_<

49 - I have read some good Cloud/Aerith fic out there that doesn't make anyone OOC, but it's rare. Hell, it's rare to find decent fanfic anywhere these days, esp. for less popular pairings--I understand your plight. ♥
