29. Ahahahaha, that sounds like fun. I should make a game out of trying to find out people's names if they're... withholding them... but that rarely happens. Oh well! Although, thinking now, if I introduced myself as Kira, they'd probably think I mean Ciara/Keira/Kiara, as in the actual name. Not as fun.

1. IAWTS halfway. I hope the artist keeps all of the romance away. I ship Abe/Mihashi HARD, but it wouldn't kill me if she did pair them with other people. Seriously though, it's an awesome series about baseball. I'll read shoujo if I wanted romance. =/ Which is why I like Chiyo so much! She's cute and has the characteristics of the obligatory romantic interest, but she's not.

26. NO. Speaking as someone whose favorite fandoms are utterly obscure; I don't share that sentiment at all. If, for example, the Filip Collin books suddenly got an actual fanbase, no one would be happier than me! To actually have someone to discuss them with, or just fangirl them madly... it'd be so wonderful. And I couldn't care less if they didn't share my particular opinions/ships/whatever; everyone should be able to like whatever they want, and I certainly wouldn't think less of them if they didn't happen to share my particular fondness for Mr. Graham or whatever (it'd be sad if they couldn't respect me for mine though, but I still wouldn't attempt to hide them or anything). Not that I don't understand your general idea though, but yeah... I just can't agree.

45. This isn't really just directed towards you -- as it's something I've seen a lot of people doing, and this secret was just sorta the last straw -- but... WHY BOTHER SUBMITTING A SECRET IF YOU'RE GOING TO BE SO VAGUE THAT NO ONE KNOWS WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT?! Going "her 1" and "her 2" and so forth is just so damn pointless; nobody's gonna get what you're talking about, and thus won't be able to give you a decent response (whether it's a "I agree!" or a "Booo, you suck!"). I just don't get the damn point. Again, don't take this too personal -- I've seen plenty of secrets even more vague than yours.

3. Here's a 1%. I'd like to agree with everyone here, but if you don't like someone anymore, legitimate reasons or not, then you just don't.

I really wanted to like Iris, but something in her story just killed her for me. It wasn't the vapid bint thing, so much as ... I don't know, am I the only one who found the fact that she was actually "Dollie" incredibly infuriating? It not only destroyed all interesting ~*~SECRET~*~ potential for Iris, it did a huge number on how badass Dahlia was.

Additionally, that's why I can't ship Phoenix/Iris. They have no chemistry at all, and Phoenix has grown past the person was back then. I don't ship most het things in PW fandom, honestly -- Phoenix and Maya remind me of my brother and sister, and that quite frankly freaks me out even more than the fact that they were already familial -- but it's true, Phoenix had so much more passion for other characters in the game. I never really felt much emotion when he was talking with Iris.

In conclusion I recognize something happened there but I really hate how it did, and I actually get quite tired of people saying Phoenix/Iris is canon. They were dating six years ago, when he thought she was someone else. I actually find it doubtful they'd get back together, as six years is a long time and changes people a lot -- especially people in their early twenties.

I can sort of understand what you're saying there. For me, I felt like Phoenix was kind of regressing a bit. I would have liked to see him get over Iris/Dollie/whatever you want to call her, instead of the whole revelation. But he just sort of fell for her all over again and they went back to how they were. At least, that's what it felt like for me. It was probably the build up of all the other relationships with characters like Maya, Edgeworth, and Pearl that made his with Iris so much less special.

I do find the whole thing kind of endearing. But at the same time, I was slightly disappointed... If that makes sense.

I loved it because it was, for a moment, a breath of fresh air in Zuko's incredibly boring predictable plot. I thought "whoa, maybe they're going to subvert the trope and the conflicted bad guy turns out to just want the main character dead."

But no. It only lasted that one scene. By the end of the same episode, he was back to normal. :(

2. The idea that a 'righteous avenger' exists that brings hard-to-get villains to justice outside the rules set up by lawenforcment, is in itself nothing to truly be afraid of. It's a common feeling, hell knows that I wish for one often when I see all the horrible things happening in the world. I don't know how you feel, but my advice would be to think, long and hard, if what you want is for actual justice to be done, or if you want to live in a world where one man get's to select who lives and who dies, based on nothing more but his whims and ideals. Which is, in my opinion, what Death Note is all about in the first place.

I guess I am saying that I think you're wrong. But that doesn't really matter: what matters is that you find the answer that you really believe in, really, truly deep down believe in, and then follow hat. I'm of the opinion that while human beings can and should restrain themselves, one should always be hoenst with ones real opinions and beliefs in order to be happy, or at least content. If you want to believe in Kira's world, believe in it and don't feel despair over believing in a world many, myself including, think is wrong. And if you find that you deep down DON'T agree with Kira, well. Stick with that.

I'm gonna stop being a hoby-psychologist and go on squeeing about pairing-secrets now. Sorry for soapboxing.

28. You know, I think I agree. But all fandoms have a tendency to sexualize relationships for.. some reason, so it doesn't really bother me that much. I guess I'm used to it. I can understand how it can be annoying when the majority of fans are vocal and wanky about their pairing, but in essence... the only advice I can give is 'take a deep breath and suck the rage up'. God knows I've done it a fair time over the years, but that's just how it goes: you bear the dumb fans, and then rejoice a little bit extra when you find the good ones.

49. I honestly have nothing insightful or profound to say about this secret. I just want everyone to know that Sailor Barrett/Cloudinadress is my crack OTP for life, and I will always have a fond place in my heart for it, even if I'll never in a million years take it seriously. A world in which Cloud actually is a woman and exactly the same as she is in game and Barret is the main romantic lead, staying home taking care of the kids while Cloud is a deadbeat 'mom' who roams the wilderness in her pimping motorcycle is what I imagine on bleak days when I need a good, honest laugh and cracky joy in my life. I.. I have no idea why, and I apologize to those who ship it in earnest, but I will never take it seriously even though I love it so much. Some pairings were made for beautiful crack, and Barret/Cloud is one of them.
