I don't know this band or what culture they're from, but they're a band. They *want* people to listen to music from their culture. That's the opposite of cultural appropriation.

The real racism is the one that says that accents or styles of music or clothes or artforms belong to certain groups of related people and them only.

If the band heard that, they'd probably be pretty pissed that actual fans are being told they can't listen to and enjoy their music (and give them money to buy their albums and go to their concerts).
