nayrt - It's not the only reading I get, mostly because "deserve" doesn't enter into it. There are lots people in this world who don't deserve to die, but it doesn't mean I'm ecstatic they're alive. Those are two different issues: 1) whether or not someone's life is "worthy" and 2) how I personally feel about them. Kind of like I personally don't like beer, but I'm not saying that it's not worthy of being served in bars to other people who enjoy it.

To be honest I've never really paid any attention to Tracy (haven't seen much 30 rock) so I can't comment on his comedy (or personality), but car accidents are scary, I wouldn't wish them on anyone, and it's good he's recovering.

It's one thing to wish someone weren't ~problematic~, it's another thing to thing it's awesome that they might have gotten a permanent personality change via incredible physical and emotional trauma.

And it's not like Tracy Morgan is the most sexist/homophobic man to become famous, and from what I've heard he's an incredibly sweet and accommodating person in real life (and more professional that he's ever given credit for being). What happened to him is terrible, and wishing for his continued suffering is super gross.
