I feel your pain, I really do. Getting constantly asked to join games, and then when you finally make it over there its "I'm not so much into that anymore, why don't you take a look at this this other game I'm going to bug and nag and whine at you to get you to join, then get bored and move onto something else?

Being used for RP is just messed up and stressful. And for a long time I was too nice a person to just say no. Eventually I cut off all contact with that person, just because things were way too out of control. And well, they were a bit of a bitch. I truly feel your pain. >.< Hope your friend decides to stick with a game and stay.

Me too. Thanks a lot, this response really means something to me. I'm glad that someone else understands - even though I'm not glad you had to go through it, too. It's just infuriating to hear "I stayed up all night playing in this game, read what X character did with Y character - it's so funny!" when I'm like "You haven't posted in the game I'm in... in a week."

She doesn't really talk to me outside of RP anymore, either. So, we'll see what happens.

Yeah going through that was the biggest pain in my ass EVAH. I'm only anonymous because I've finally gotten her out of my hair and don't want to deal with her. >.<

Hearing all about how much fun you're having in another game when you aren't posting in the one you dragged me into? Yeah, not the best thing you want to hear ever.

It got to the point where she would only IM me if she wanted to RP, and if I was busy/didn't want too or whatever, she would just stop talking to me and go off and do other things. Its a load of BS and I hope things work out for you.

holy shit. Message me or something. I also am hugely passionate about the BPRD, I had NO IDEA anyone else liked this fucking comic as much as I do, the only others were diehard HB fans. I just don't even believe it, I almost had a heart attack. Is there really a league for this damn comic?

Anime, like most things, is the same stuff recycled over and over again. Kamina and Straight Cougar are both just rehashes of the same "hotblooded" male characters that have been in fighting/robot anime since the 70s, just like Gurren-Lagann is pieces of other giant robot shows smashed together into an entertaining whole.

The longer you stick around in anime/manga the more you see it, meanwhile all the new people think it's the most unique amazing stuff ever.

So, I agree with your point but really you can keep saying that about most things all the way back to the origins of anime. Then you switch to another media format to trace the rehashing back even farther, LOL.

You are /far/ from alone. I thought Blair Witch was anything but corny; they fiddled around with your imagination like there's no tomorrow and THAT is what I loved about -- and that's what made it terrifying.

Jesus, the ending still gives me the chills.

Hell, no. It scared the shit out of me.

On the way home from the theater, I told my husband that if I ever found him standing in a corner in our house(that's the kind of sense of humor he has) that I'd kick his ass. Luckily, he never did. I probably would have had a heart attack.
