Looking back, was 'Married with Children' the genesis of the MRA?

All the worst thing about that show fit perfectly into the MRA philosophy.

Every MRA I have ever encountered is of the correct age to have been a fan, MwC existed years before the MRA was ever a concept and yet their 'No Ma'am@ group is essentially the exact thing that the MRA is. and all of the horrible things MRA's believe are right there as major themes of the show.

So why do you suspect that today's MRA's didn't watch this show and thing "Hey, they've got a point, maybe we should start a group up like No Ma'am"
