34. I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU. I mean, David's death made me cry like mad, but I was so pissed at Moore for killing off the only nice guy in the ENTIRE series. It made me dislike Francine so much. And I wasn't happy with him making all the women bisexual either, although I admit that I thought that the Tambi/Casey moments were adorable. And Freddie suddenly being this wise dude who can actually counsel Casey? Wha?

I like what they're doing to the story. Episode 18 convinced me that I'm not just watching Gundamoo shallowly because it's so beautiful - the Thrones got the plot to do amazing things. I couldn't hate them for that alone.

2. You an me both. CLAMP, too. Especially with Saiyuki, I often get the feeling that Minekura never really had an idea for what would happen with the series - she just started writing, and with a premise like that she could pretty much go on for as long as she wanted.

28 - Man, seriously. I think Giygas is one of the most well-constructed final battles I've ever seen in any RPG, mostly just by his very nature being such a contrast to the rest of the game (and yet, he still feels natural, unlike say FF9's shoehorned last boss) and how you defeat him. The music that plays during the sequence, the creepy things he says, how utterly pointless fighting him seems... it's just amazing how the game can still manage to make you feel hopeless and get you emotionally invested in defeating Giygas every time, and I know that every time I play it, all of the prayers always get to me. Especially the last one, since at that point it's completely true.
Itoi is a genius.

57. First, if that's you in the picture, then you aren't fat. The girl in the picture is a bit chubby, and clearly full-figured. And yeah, that's not the modern ideal of beauty, which shows just how fucked up some modern ideals are really. Second, get out something like The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins and enjoy Count Fosco, who is immensely fat, yet still manages to be more appealing if sociopathic than most of the other characters put together.

Well, how far into the series have you read? ..What about R!Syaoran? I love CCS!Syaoran to bits aswell (he's my favourite manga character ever :3), and so can understand not being exactly a massive fan of pre-Tokyo Syaoran or C!Syaoran; but R!Syaoran is exactly as I would imagine CCS!Syaoran to be when grown up and put in the same angsty situation (god forbid it D:).

I kind of want to go into a tl;dr essay about how I love them both because they really are very similar, but I don't have time right now. *laughs* (I'm not sure I'm even understanding your secret correctly, anyway. :x) So I'll just say that although there are certain aspects of CCS!Syaoran's personality that R!Syaoran lacks such as CCS!Syao's brattiness/rudeness, I believe that can be put down to not only the differing circumstances but also, of course, the fact that by the end of the CCS series, CCS!Syaoran had actually matured and was no longer the rude, thoughtless guy he was at the start. He became someone that, in my opinion, very closely resembles the R!Syaoran that we see now. Besides, I do remember one instance in Tokyo when Kurogane asked him what the symbol was on his chest and he replied rather bluntly that it was the "crest of the one that killed your mother". ^_^;; ♥
