17. MEDIEVAL TIMES FTW! I've slashed the blue and green knights for ages. And green knight/princess what's-her-face are true love. This is fact. XD But if there was a fandom, no one would hate on green knight. Fandom loves a villain.

22. Ha ha, whenever I'm in the bookstore I always check to see if anyone's in the manga section. If there is, then I pretend I'm looking at the mysteries. Also, I don't shop for manga in my local bookstores. Or anyplace with cameras. XD

Quite the contrary. Unless it's Mystic Quest, Final Fantasy is overrated.

How are Earthbound, SMRPG, and Chrono Trigger overrated?? SMRPG and CT have extremely small fandoms, especially. And they're great games. I don't understand you, sir or madam. :(

While I agree with you on the rest... Mystic Quest? Are you kidding me? O.o I'm fairly sure that game is like... the second-worst RPG I've ever played (after Vandal Hearts, which was terrible. Though Legend of Dragoon was also full of fail).

Then again, you can't call the game overrated, since it's not what you'd call a popular game. :P

1/56. I like them both. Always have. But I really don't think you can compare them to each other just because they have orange feline characters in them. They're just too different overall.

3. Meanwhile, I think tripe like Family Guy and whatever else passes for "comedy" on Adult Swim is stupid and unfunny, and I don't get what everyone loves about those. Monty Python at least, to me, comes off as somewhat more clever and semi-intelligent. But hey...different strokes for different folks and all that. *shrug*

15. ...Oh, thank the GODS I'm not the only one who thinks he's overrated. I'm sick to death of hearing about Buffy this, Firefly/Serenity that, that I want to scream.

27. I don't particularly care for Death Note for various reasons, but if it were the Doctor going after Light? I'd SO watch that.

31. My thoughts exactly. Whenever I see something about "Clannad," I think of the band (whose CD's I have quite a few of), not some anime/manga that hasn't been around nearly as long.

The openings and endings are rarely indicative of an anime's story and tone anymore anyway (that kinda died out in the late 90's, I've found), and are really just a way to overhype a particular band/artist now. Besides, I find most J-pop/J-rock to be pretty boring and same-old, and I really don't give a damn about character image songs either. Give me the background music any day of the week.

Well...by your reasoning, I have to say it's unfortunate that you're not going to give Zeta, Turn A, or Gundam X a chance, as there are no actual masked characters in those, just guys with sunglasses (with the one in GX being a protagonist instead of an antagonist/rival). They're all good series, and the latter two are a nice departure from the typical Gundam fare.

5. Heheh, yeah, the way I see it fandom!secrets is are opt-in wank. If you don't want it, you don't post.

6. Actually, it's a reasonably common phenomenon in fandom to hate the source material, but have it give you a killer idea that inspires a great fic. I hate the Fullmetal Alchemist movie with a passion -- the sole reason I like it is that its complete and utter suckage means we fans have license to write awesome fics to end the series in whatever way we see fit XD

56. O.o Sometimes I think they post things like 1 and 56 on the same day on purpose.

I can't say I've ever noticed people in fandom hating the source material. They all seem to adore it, or at the very least like it.

Nothing to do with anything, but FMA movie as in Conquerer of Shambala? Or is there another one that I managed to miss?
