What the title says: what would you say was your first OTP ever?

Can't remember exactly, but April/Raph from TMNT. I also though Skids/Charlene from the G1 Transformers comics were cute.

Canon: Sonic the Hedgehog/Sally Acorn from the SatM cartoon.
Non-canon: Yuffie/Reno from Final Fantasy 7. (This was because of Frank Venderosa's fanfic series, if anyone remembers it. I also kinda shipped Vincent/Elena and Reeve/Aeris because of it, but they didn't appear as much in fandom.)
Slash: Trowa/Quatre from Gundam Wing. (Until I completely watched the series, then it became Duo/Quatre)

Kari/TK or Tai/Sora from Digimon was probably the first time I was invested in a ship. I was like, ten or eleven, and I think it was the first series where there were hints to certain ships, but they weren't necessarily realized (not at all, in Tai/Sora's case) so the first time I felt frustrated that the pairing I liked didn't turn out.

The first ships I like that I became involved in fandom for was probably Cloud/Aeris (FF7).

I still love those old ships, though now all my ships are gay. (first gay ship: Quatre/Trowa, or Tai/Matt upon a rewatch and realizing how much gay potential they had)

Sydney/Vaughn from Alias, I was about 13. First time I got mad when one character showed feelings for someone outside my pairing, and first time I got warm feelings when my couple got together :D

Harry/Hermione, starting the first time I read Goblet of Fire. I still ship them a little bit now.

First slash OTP was probably Yugi/Yami Yugi from Yu-Gi-Oh!

My first canon OTP was probably Billy/Teddy from Young Avengers, lol. It's rare that any of my ships are or become canon, never mind ships that I would label OTP.

Data/Geordi Laforge from Star Trek TNG. I think I was three or four when I started asking why Riker got to kiss the lady who wanted to wash her feet but Data doesn't get to kiss Geordi. Still asking this question more than twenty years later, now that I think about it.

It's embarrassing because it's so recent.

But - although I had shipped things before - if I were being really honest, my first OTP was Root/Shaw. Because the way that I felt about it was completely different to anything that came before it. It was the first thing that I really, really OTPed.

First het OTP: Mulder/Scully. Could be that I sort of shipped stuff before, but that's the first one I really got into and read fic of. Started out non-canon, ended up canon, as did most of my het ships.

First slash OTP: I honestly don't remember. Which is weird because most of my OTPs are slash now. I think it's because after I 'discovered' slash I went on a spree through several fandoms so they kind of run together. But if I had to guess it's either Archer/Trip from ST:Ent or Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan from SW.

First ship was with my first major fandom: Yami/Yugi from Yugioh. Can't say it's an OTP though because I fell out of that fandom hard, I don't ship anyone in it anymore at all, and haven read any fic since well before the show stopped (I dropped it for good at the end of battle city)

First OTP though, wasn't until Naruto: Sasuke/Naruto. I've drifted to and away from this fandom many times, but I always enjoy this pairing.

Canon: Either Han/Leia or Anne/Gilbert. I honestly can't remember which I liked first.
Non-canon OTP: Harry/Hermione
Slash OTP: Tom/Harry (first slash fic I ever read, in fact, was Tom/Harry, which probably colored my future shipping preferences a lot because I have pretty much two ship modes: friendship ships and really unhealthy ships)
Femslash OTP: Willow/Tara, Willow was also the first female character I was every attracted to as well as someone I really related to. Buffy was eye opening in a lot of ways for me.
