I'm gonna look like an idiot for asking on such specifics, but I have to wonder if it's Faye's bitchiness/relationship woes, or QC the comic in general. 'Cuz if it's the former then agreed, fully agreed. Entire-comic wise it's still pretty good IMO, I just skim the Faye and Sven strips nowadays to focus on the better ones. Hannelore and Pintsize make it worth reading.

LOL at the craziness in the QC-livejournal community lately though.

28. I love this novel so much. I was really surprised about the rape scene, because I thought it was a young adult book, and even though her books have adult symbolism or what have you, I haven't seen adult themes.

Or, I dunno. I really didn't expect it.

Me too! I had the impression that it was a YA book because I had read her Beauty and the Beast novel just before that, and it was YA (or at least pretty tame). Well, I knew that the fairy tale in this case involved incest; but still, the "SURPRISE! BRUTAL RAPE SCENE!!!" came as a pretty big shock. Great book though. ^^

25. I agree with you. I have nothing against Gwen (especially now they write her better) but they have no chemistry. Every time Jack slams her against a wall and they stare at each other, I like to think that Gwen is actually controlling herself from kicking him in the balls. I mean, isn’t she sick of that?
