3. I agree completely but still keep reading in the hope that it will A) be funny or B) go somewhere (no, them fucking doesn't count as somewhere for me)

15. Jensen is fat, lol.

51. You aren't alone. Yay us.

[identity profile] timbershiver.livejournal.com 2008-02-21 10:22 pm (UTC)(link)
"Jensen is fat"

Hey fuck you! You're gonna make him cry, and then he'll go all bulimic, and then he'll die and then Jared will kill himself.

IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT?!

p.s LOL

I love you. FOR SHIZ.

God, I need more Moxy in my life.

[identity profile] galerian-ash.livejournal.com 2008-02-19 11:02 pm (UTC)(link)
12. ...You obviously don't live in Sweden. To say this song was viral would be a major understatement. Urgh.

43. O_o

47. You know, I think that's really sweet. Who cares if adults aren't supposed to do stuff like that? Do whatever the hell you wanna do, and don't feel bad about it.

50. Personally, I think it's one of the better shoujo series out there. It does that whole girl-transported-to-strange-world theme a million times better than the much more popular Fushigi Yugi, IMHO.

67. Man, that sucks. Couldn't you get someone to help you past that part? Like, ask your dad or whoever to just play it until it's over and done with.

69. I don't really feel the same way you do, but I still wanted to give you a shout-out! Have you ever seen the movie version of Der Tod In Venedig? It's so damn good (the only book-to-movie conversion I actually love), and I imagine it might be easier to, ahem, enjoy yourself with some visual stimuli.

[identity profile] muse-mistress.livejournal.com 2008-02-19 11:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Star Trek, yessss. I really need to rewatch it and see what I'll get out of it now as opposed to when I was eight! <33 this secret.

We don't share ships but we should totally be pals. XD I have the same problem you do.

TB6

[identity profile] ketchupblood.livejournal.com 2008-02-19 11:05 pm (UTC)(link)
TB6. I attribute his popularity to him having a backstory that Hoshino hasn't told us yet, and the fact that he appeared in practically the very first arc of DGM. True, he hasn't had a huge place in the story (other than as eyecandy) but I think that at the very beginning, he helped develop Allen a lot. I personally like his character a lot because the way he deals with things is kind of sweet, in a subtle way.

And why does everyone hate Kanda/Allen? :( Just because there's virtually no canon basis for it doesn't make it any less sexy fun to ship.

Also, you might not have wanted to say that his killing Skin Bolic was unimportant because Skin Bolic wasn't a pretty character, because I think that may have taken away from your point. Just a heads up.

How about the 'I would've liked him more with a vagina'?

S-sob, just so many logical fallacies in the secret. xD;

33. I lol'ed. Hard. XD

69.

[identity profile] amethyst-glass.livejournal.com 2008-02-19 11:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Haha, we read "Death in Venice" in my first year at the uni and I was shipping Gustav/Tadzio like crazy.

[identity profile] kyaa.livejournal.com 2008-02-19 11:09 pm (UTC)(link)
24. ME TOO

42. I SEE CORNJOB ON THE LEFT THERE

45. Her boobs are gonna give someone a black eye

55. ME TOO I'm going to go out and buy my Guy Fawkes mask tonight!

55

[identity profile] cereal-killer71.livejournal.com 2008-02-20 01:19 am (UTC)(link)
Gah, lucky! I'm going to the Philadelphia, PA one, and it's illegal to wear masks there. I'm still unbelievably excited though. XD

I've never thought of that before, but I think you could be on to something there...

[identity profile] doxinator.livejournal.com 2008-02-19 11:12 pm (UTC)(link)
12. GOD THANK YOU I HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE CALL IT THE "NUMA NUMA SONG" ASDFSDS
Also, totally agree with you on the Basshunter part :D

62. Agreed.

67. Man, I can relate -- underwater levels in video games always creep me out for some reason, and I remember getting especially scared with FF7. Freaking Emerald WEAPON, always zipping around and running into my submarine. Goddammit.

[identity profile] doxunderwater.livejournal.com 2008-02-19 11:12 pm (UTC)(link)
44: They are the same, and I love them both. Thank you for saying what needed to be said, people need to stop hatin'.

19: This may be a repeat?

X3 <3333!

And Hesse, Novalis, etc. are full of awesome potential too...maybe even Kafka as well... though it makes me feel like an idiotic slash obsessed fangirl to even think of classic literature in that way T T;

41

[identity profile] mint-eclair.livejournal.com 2008-02-19 11:16 pm (UTC)(link)

1. Yes, a million times over yes. Which only reminds me how much J.J. Abrams' version is going to be a let down. Those two actors had chemistry together. Boatloads. Their personalities shone through their characters.

This new movie is going to find that is it nearly impossible to copy. Is the newSpock and the newKirk going to ape them? Otherwise, they will not be Kirk and Spock just something all together different. Like another world version of them.

And, personaly, I'd rather not watch that. Even if it has Simon Pegg.

33. This secret made me giggle. Hee! He does have nice pearly whites.

Re: 1

[identity profile] queenpeladon.livejournal.com 2008-02-19 11:30 pm (UTC)(link)
I still can't quite work out how I feel about that movie. I think "apprehensive" is the presiding emotion...

62

[identity profile] slowplay.livejournal.com 2008-02-19 11:16 pm (UTC)(link)
62 - Here here. The worst is fashion iconers. Seriously, I've completely given up on them. For some reason they tend to not use the FUCKING SUBJECT FIELD in their posts either.

Laaaaaame.

47

[personal profile] autumnrain 2008-02-19 11:22 pm (UTC)(link)
47- That's so sweet!

I wanted to make toasted cheese sandwiches in honour of my favourite character's birthday. It isn't actually his favourite food (it was never specified) and I gave him that birthday because again, he doesn't have one, but I wanted to do it anyway.
Cept I didn't have a toasted sandwich maker at the time, so I failed. But the spirit was there!

Um...how is it that some shit about Scientology counts as fandom, but I've seen secrets relegated to not!fandom that clearly did relate to fandom? Bollocks.

Re: 55

(Anonymous) 2008-02-19 11:27 pm (UTC)(link)
The OP is a fandom of what Anonymous is doing. :)

Also, scilon ITT.

D8 I LOVE THE PEOPLE IN THAT CASE.

YOU... YOU'RE SO MEAN. ;_;

34, 36, 37, 60, 62, 64, 65, 67

[identity profile] lanjelin.livejournal.com 2008-02-19 11:24 pm (UTC)(link)
34: I never realised, but I agree SO MUCH.

36: I loathe most (but not all!) ficcers' Cloud charaterisation. It's like they just didn't pay attention during the game at all. He's the toughest character in it.

37: He's a very unpleasant character, and if you resemble him, my advice is to maybe try a bit of therapy. Having empathy problems can be dealt with (to some extent), and treating people like tools isn't far from as satisfying as actually caring about someone and having them care about you back.

60: ...Grounded? That's a clichéd word, if I ever heard one.

62: Friendslocked recs is what annoys me most of all. And I never friend, since the lock annoys me so much. XD

64: That was my first thought of Zexion as well! I've only seen pictures though, I haven't the money for a... DS, isn't it? And I still watch (and love!) Slayers. I'm actually looking fo ra reasonably priced TRY dvd box at the moment.

65: Wouldn't it just be best if you based their characterisations on canon? Really, this is why the KH fandom has such awful fiction.

67: I feel bad for you, it's such a great game! (Though a little confusing at times if you don't concentrate on every single little detail.) Maybe you could have someone else play through that part for you?

BEST RELATIONSHIP ON TV EVER.

Seriously, no one can top them.

[identity profile] regendy.livejournal.com 2008-02-19 11:26 pm (UTC)(link)
15. Me too. Sure, public domain and all, but still... D:

42. Yeah, Lana's frustrating and boring, Angel's animations take for-freaking-ever, and Meekins... there are no words to describe the AUGHHH of Meekins. But it's worth it! Because... Gant!

[identity profile] leafing.livejournal.com 2008-02-19 11:27 pm (UTC)(link)
I thought that Meekins was spectacular.

... After I muted the volume on my DS.

It does have a great ring to it, I have to admit.
