As many have said before, the mask isn't exclusive to V. It's a Guy Fawkes mask, also known as Epic Fail Guy. A lot of people probably chose this mask because a) it's a classic meme and /b/ it's an easy way to be anonymous.

4chan probably doesn't give two shits about V or any possible significance it would have, protest-wise.

EFG isn't actually based on the Guy Fawkes in the movies, it's been around for longer than that; although the use of the mask itself could be derived from its use in the books. The character himself is based on the actual person, Guy Fawkes. (Who fails, epically. Hence the name.)
Well, it's actually more likely to be the other way around; the GF reference was probably chosen because of his failing nature.

The only reason I'm afraid to, is I don't want it to adversely affect the other translators out there. There are people putting honest, good work into other games by this company.

But yeah- you can't get the patch unless you donate to him. And he doesn't seem to have any intention to publically release it.

He was even talking about making a program that would install malware on your computer if it detected a poor version of the game.

-and according to him, you didn't have a legit reason if you had the CD version. Because that's easier to pirate than the DVD version.

13. Sometimes I feel the same way because not all my friends believe the same thing that I do. Sometimes I talk about it anyway because it's nothing to be ashamed of and we all respect each other's beliefs or non beliefs ^_^ go for it if you want to! You can teach people interesting things they didn't know. I recently got a manga version of Jesus' life story, omg so awesome! It's great to see the Bible in different mediums! ;D BTW I LOVE how you worded this secret, so awesome!

27. A good majority of anime characters are skinny, which is a huge part of their appeal. Even if there were more fat characters to cosplay as, I don't think as many people would cosplay as them because alot of people would rather be the flashy main people, which are usually not fat.
