I'm sorry that happened to you, but I think that copyright law needs to seriously change to keep people like you from losing their jobs like that. It's only going to get worse if television networks/media corporations continue to refuse to embrace new technology because they're scared of losing some extra bucks. /rant

I know the anime industry is all up in arms about illegal downloading, and they are pushing the blame onto fans instead of adequately adapting to the new developments in technology and using downloading to their advantage. I do feel for the people who are losing their jobs over this, but the companies producing these shows need to reconsider their strategy in dealing with this issue.
