Anthy is one of the most complex, subtle, martyred, masochistic, abused, abusive, and pradoxacle characters I've ever seen committed to any medium. Yes she's manipulative, yes she's creepy, yes she's enigmatic, and yes she's abusive, but she also sacrificed herself for her brother, endured eternal torment and suffering for him, even after she knew the brother she loved was gone, and was the first girl to break out of the "princess" role-- not Utena. I like that she's frightening and not always likeable. I like that she's complex. I like that people hate her because it means she's interesting. I wish there were more characters like her.

I can see the sibling dynamic too,mostly from the "complementary opposites,yet similar" aspect.But,being more than that suits then better!The ship resolves around an inevitable chain of breaking limits after all,isn't it?That's why I believe the "almost siblings" actually adds to it.It's supposed to feel wrong,but so wrong it actually works.

22. Don't let your parents decide who is right for you, if that person happens to be of another race, so what? I'm the product of an interracial relationship and not all interracial children have the "what race am I?" blues, and it shouldn't define, them. Yoruichi/Ichigo is haaaaawt (then again I don't mind either character slashed with/anyone so...yeah)

Oh my god, I know it's the last page (so far) and you might not see this, but seriously I love DG/Cain but DG is so not Mary Sue, and Cain needs some work I think before he could even consider another relationship. Remember the whole TIN MAN issue? Damaged heart and all that? I hate how so many fics just dismiss his wife and all their years together like it was nothing in favor of DG with her Mary Sue powers just healing all his woes away with one bat of her big blue eyes (tm)and a fiesty ass comment.

While I love this pairing I really wish I could come across a fic that isn't sappy romance combined with a weird almost Daddy/Paternal feeling between them. They take advantage of that and make it creepy rather then touching. Seriously people Cain is not obsessed with DG, and while I do think the couple could work (it is one of my OTPS, but the creators even said there was something there) it needs to evolve differently then the romantic and sometimes creepy poorly written crap I see online.

This makes me want to write my own and try to make it work...


45. Sylar is starting to piss me off, his story lines are just tired to me.

But Zachary Quinto doesn't have a traditional attractiveness and I think a lot of what appeals (to me sometimes) and to others is his demeanor and manner, he can be stand offish, aloof but he's very well spoken and eloquent *shrugs*. It's all in how he portrays himself. Sylar though...needs to evolve or go away I say. I don't get the fangirly worship, I swear he just...the character needs to die.

46. Finish the series for the sheer depth and magnitude of the characterization and story lines, in the end you'll see shipping doesn't even matter (and yet it does in some sense...) I think you'll be pleased with it.
