I enjoy it if it's either pure uncut crack, played entirely for laffs and wtf?ery, or if the writer has taken some social realism into account. But Yay!Assbabies! because you can't have a relationship without procreating, well, it just leaves a nasty taste in the back of my mouth.

My kneejerk reaction about this would be to write Anissina/Gwendal, only because your secret somehow rubs me the wrong way, even though my Anissina is generally a lesbian or completely uninterested in sex and romantic relationships, and my Gwendal prefered ship is Gwendal/Nicola/Huber, because I honestly don't see it as ridiculous.

Also because I keep on being the one and only in KKM fandom who apparently thinks that other than a case of Heika-ism, Günther is straight. Sigh, c'est la vie.

1. Ron DeLite is amazing. No one can touch his sheer adorability.

2. Any sibling-like picture I had of Mello & Near was kind of destroyed by the one-shot. Finding out that they never met L and only sort of talked to him once kinda bummed me out. I liked him as their mentor figure, but it's like... he was more of a rockstar to them. A geeky rockstar for nerds. Like the Oprah Winfrey to their small African girl.

22. I actually like Noah and Ed, although not as much as Winry/Ed...that being said, what does what your parents think really matter? I'm...not exactly for rebelling against your parents for no reason, but if they actually think that it's bordering on racism.
Also, I'm totally pimping, but...One of the characters in Princess Tutu appears to be Arabic, and he ends up being kinda-sorta attached to a girl who's caucasian?

*likes an interracial fma couple as well* I'm one of the freaks that goes on about "omg, they will make such pretty babies together" XD Not about Ed/Noa specifically, but I tend to do that with interracial pairings.

When you meet your perfect someone and it just so happens that he/she is not the same race as you, I hope you both can overcome the obstacles in your way. It's sad that your parents can't see past ethnicities/heritage. Best of luck.

I always think it's too bad my aunt and uncle decided not to have kids. My uncle-- my dad's brother-- is Caucasian (Eastern European Jewish, to be specific), my aunt is Indian.

THEY WOULD'VE HAD SUCH PRETTY BABIES. But since they're both almost forty now... yeah, not happening.

And that always feels like such a shallow way of thinking, but most of the multiracial people I know really are very striking and pretty and all that. Since my mum is British and I've picked up her accent, I kinda know what it's like to get those questions every time you meet someone new. I get a lot of "where are you from?" Probably not quite as bad as "what are you?", although it'd be easier to give people attitude with that one.

31. I firmly believe it is possible to write good mpreg. I firmly believe I did write good mpreg once, and will hunt the fic down for anyone who asks (though it's for a pretty obscure movie).

It's just that the overwhelming majority of people write it from the angle of OMG CUTE GAY COUPLE MUST HAVE BABIES BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT COUPLES DO, and not from the angle of "wow, let's inflict some seriously weird shit on people and see how they react." Which, IMHO, is a way more entertaining way to go about it in any case.
