LOLZ. Try it. And if you can, I kinda want to call you a whore. :3

35. I have the same problem, except that even the friends who knew me before I did much fanart still think of me as an artist first and a writer only as an afterthought. I'm starting to think I may have spoiled them with comics they could finish reading in thirty seconds, and now they don't want to go back to stuff they'd have to take five or ten minutes to read.

The thing is, I want to write professionally. Do I have to completely give up drawing to do that? I already basically have, but now they just ignore me altogether.

[identity profile] hopelikefever.livejournal.com 2008-03-17 11:48 pm (UTC)(link)
6. Aww, I'm just guessing it's just from the excitement of the release of Apollo Justice. It'll probably die down eventually.

23. Meh, in some cases, it's understandable. I mean, they did completely turn the ex-main character's life completely upside down and completely neglected the previous cast. I absolutely adored Apollo Justice, but I do have a hard time connecting AJ to the PW series simply because Miles and Maya aren't present. It didn't feel like a Phoenix Wright game without any sort of mention of those two.

24. I loved AJ a lot, too. Honestly, my least favorite game was 2, despite the fact that case 2-4 is my favorite out of all of them. I think the majority of people in the PW fandom are a little more tolerant than to judge people on the fact that they like the newest game more than the others, despite what F!S may represent. ;) You're not a heretic.

28. Different strokes for different folks. And sometimes, even the folks change their mind. Some days I want pretty boy porn, and other days I want real person porn. *shrugs*

43. LOL, I just watched the old The Wicker Man last night with Christopher Lee. He was a good-looking man, even if his hair was scary. I'd tap Harrison at any age, though. Delicious.

55. Having bad taste makes life more fun! Tacky things are far more interesting. ;)

66. This secret makes me feel bad for Trucy... :'(

OP 6

(Anonymous) 2008-03-17 11:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Agreed-- but man, the amount of PW secrets totally outnumbers everything. Was it really like this when DN was hot?

Laaaaaaaaaaaaaarrryyyy ♥ ♥ ♥

8. Ianto is too good for Jack. Or rather, he needs someone who is better for him than Jack, because he's never going to be the only one Jack needs-- there's just too much Harkness to settle down on one person. After he cut in on the dance in the wedding episode, my heart broke a little...

37. Jews are hot. I've known that since I was 12, but yes: hotness. (Chuck from Pushing Daisies \o/)

54. I kind of adopt traits from my favorites, too. This was very bad when my favorite was Rodney McKay. I'm pretentious enough without someone to learn from.

64. ...yeah. No, really yeah.

04 Why does it make you depressed?

11 Hey, you don't know that. There are plenty of fish in the sea. Just gotta keep searching until you find that right person.

18 Um...use custom filter?

28 Um..okay?

33 There are some rare times that internet relationships do work out. Not all of them crash and burn. It works for some people, and for some it doesn't.

37 YAY FOR JEWS~!

04 OP =)

(Anonymous) 2008-03-17 11:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, now it's mostly because everyone believes their idea of a 'good' dirty anime is obviously superior (Sensitive Pornograph wasn't that great, heh).

Originally, Mokkun just creeped me out and made me feel sorry for Pico, so I'm sad for him. :P

03. Columbo! Omg, I love you. The others only look a little familiar.

65. I always thought Jet needed more attention than he got in the Bebop fandom. He's such an awesome character.
I always liked Picollo, too.

33. I agree with this, to a point... but you really can't control who you like. I had quite a few crushes over the internet, and don't think I didn't hate myself for them.

58. I-I did the same thing with my best friend, only it's not smut. Half of my romantic fanfiction is just me voicing my frustrations to her through a character. Sad thing is, it fits.

10. Hahaha that video made me want to watch Haruhi EVEN MORE and trust me its awesome (also I'm always like Hey! That bit was in Skittles! Hahahaha)

37. ...Ah?? Uh, Ron Stoppable is Jewish? This I never knew. A-also, ew, Rugrats baby? I mean, I like Jewish guys...but for some reason...I don't know, maybe its that whole "ew someone within your heritage thing"? Hahaha.

60. ...Why do they want to bring it down, is the question? A-also, HP sorting comm secret T^Tb (I don't think any of my friends at [livejournal.com profile] lumos_sorting hang out in these parts it saddens meee :'( )

54. oh my god. I totally do the same thing...with the same character. :| I did it with Chase, too, and the Master, and Jack, and asdhaklhd it's just a terrible habit. (The Jordan phase was nice though. I should stay in that phase more.)

66. Haha I totally read that as TARDIS.

68. YES. YES.

Usually it's not that bad - hell, sometimes it's an improvement. (For example, Tohru from Fruits Basket made me a lot more forgiving/friendly) But House? I'm so angry at myself lately. If I don't watch it, I'm going to start losing friends. :/

06. lol @ making a PW secret to protest PW secrets.

05. Oh my goddd those LEGS, UNF.
14. SWITCH PAIRINGS FTMFW.
18. This is why I have a filter called "so sister can't read" that has everyone except her on it.
20. Of COURSE he's not as nice as he appears to be; that's pretty much the major point of his character. I mean, look at all his women-issues. It's blatantly obvious.
28. Made for straight women, by straight women; whaddya expect? I don't really care for it either, but then again, I like my women not to have penises, thanks. But you think you got it bad? Even most "real lesbian porn" is made for straight men. It sucks being a dyke who's not into that shit.
29. ......how the hell do you know how "massive" their "schlongs" are?
35. Agreeeeeed.
37. Jews are awesome. ♥
45. ...I can't tell what the hell is going on in this secret.

33. Does my been-going-strong-for-over-two-and-half-years (and I've met her, yes) internet relationship count as acceptable, or do I have to turn in my respectable person card?

[identity profile] lunarkitten.livejournal.com 2008-03-18 12:16 am (UTC)(link)
37. Me too. Especially Jewfros, they make me all warm and fuzzy inside. :3 (Professor Frink, All Grown Up!Dil, Kyle, and Ron ftw!)

64. I love seeing how far the writers are trying to push Stewie/Brian. They seriously have some of the best interactions on the show.

33. In a way, I felt the same. I didn't say anything because it is their life and choice and I try to move on.

However, a couple people that I know have ended up in good long relationships ( after finally meeting in person. ) and I am starting to think. . .that I am a bit closed minded for not allowing myself to be open to long distance and internet relationships. I refuse to but. . .maybe I am just closing off a whole group of people.

I mean. . .I have made some great friends online and even see them in real life now too.

Re: 33

[identity profile] kinneas.livejournal.com 2008-03-18 01:44 am (UTC)(link)
There's a big difference between, "we met online", and, "our primary means of contact is through AIM", though. The latter, IMO, is perfectly fine to be close-minded about.
