31. I subscribed to Flash as soon as I found out Bart had been given the mantle. After [spoiler removed] issue, and being unfortunately unimpressed with the new storylines, I've decided to drop. Why, Bart? WHY? ;_;

33. Adding my own experience to the rousing chorus of 'It can and does work!' Next month will be mine and my girlfriend's anniversary. Five years together, seven years as friends. We met in the Invader ZIM fandom and immediately were closer than I've ever been with anyone. Almost every moment we weren't working or sleeping was spent on the internet, and later on the phone with each other, falling asleep while talking or typing to each other, the whole nine yards. She flew from California to visit me three times before we finally realized what we had. About a year after we made it official I moved from Memphis to California to live with her, and we've been ridiculously happy ever since.

LOL TL;DR. The bottom line is she makes me believe in soul mates. I never wanted a relationship but now I can't imagine life without her, and it would never have happened without fandom and the internet. Fandom also gives us something we can share and enjoy together. Apparently our story isn't even that unique, considering some of the comments here, so maybe just keep that in mind when your friends start gushing over their net loves and crushes? No, not all of them are going to turn into one of the world's greatest love stories, but their starting place doesn't make them any less valid than any other crush.

1) Making tests into games is a great way of coping and turning an otherwise dull and stressful activity into something you can feel good about. Now I just have to figure a way of turning laundry folding into an RPG.

8) Jack has love enough for everyone on his team. Together even. I personally hope that the show goes back to treating sex as superficial and fun, because in my mind, the show is an OT5 (plus bonus Rhys). When they signed on to the job, they might as well put a ring on their fingers and called themselves married.

There is a reason Hentai is the way it is, but it's not one that's obvious to younger readers and writers. One of these days it will click in and you'll get the point of pointless porn, but you've got plenty of time.

In the meanwhile, please go ahead and put your skills to the test on PG-13 fics that have lots of plot, setting, and characters that don't make you want to kill them. We've got tons of porn already, but good stories are few and far between.
