I'll start

for people who live at home, do you ever pee and not flush the toilet? how often do you flush it?

I usually go twice before I flush it unless I have people over. but maybe this is kind of gross?

Depends on how much water I drank that day. If the pee is basically clear water then no because it's a waste of water

TMI: due to my medical issues I rarely piss without also defecating. I flush EVERY time, and to do otherwise is incomprehensible.

I always flush. But while possibly gross, it's commendable that you're doing that. You're cutting down water useage, and that helps the environment.

I sometimes do that at night, if I really need to go to bed, OR if I'm up in the night and trying to get back to sleep. (Since sometimes doing too much wakes me up, although just sitting there sometimes wakes me up too, really.)

I flush probably 2/3 of the time.

I probably should flush less tbh, saves water, you know what I mean

When I was like 8 my family had a toilet without water saving mechanisms so we did not flush everytime for a while. But since we got a new toilet we mostly flush everytime (unless maybe my sister is literally standing there and waiting to use the toilet too).

And well since I moved out and live with people that aren't family now I always flush obvsly, but generally I don't think it is extremely disgusting?

I thought, except in instances of heinously dark or smelly pee, most people subscribed to "if it's yellow let it mellow; if it's brown flush it down."

This is what the half flush function exists for!

I'm in California and we're in the middle of an historic drought, so the phrase "if it's yellow, it's mellow" stands in a lot of places, but pee starts to smell after a few hours. I'm not as crunchy granola as some peeps so I tend to flush sooner rather than later.

Absolutely not. I always flush the toilet after I use it. But that is also because I share the bathroom with other people and I hate when others don't flush and our house is a bit, off? with temperature so it's best to always flush.

If I'm leaving the house, I'll flush first. And a couple of times a week, put toilet cleaner in while I'm out. I don't generally flush overnight, just once in the morning.

It depends. I have periods where I'll pee several times a row just a tiny bit. If the water isn't yellow then yes I won't flush sometimes.

I flush every single time because piss starts to smell if you let it sit and I can't stand it

2-3 times before flushing. I pee a lot so the extra wait isn't that long timewise. I also flush it before going to work and of course, when there are guests.

I don't think it's particularly gross and it saves water. Maybe if it stank or it stained the bowl.

About users? Or personal as in "I couldn't ask this IRL/not anon"?

Oops, nevermind

Your example answers my question. :)

Why do elderly people's bathrooms smell? I once asked my mom why my grandfather's bathroom had a weird smell in it every time I went, and she said the reason was too sad to explain "now", but never did explain...

SA - Should say the reason apparently wasn't specific to my grandfather, she said "it happens with old people but it's too sad to explain right now."

Does anyone else accidentally get blood on the bedsheets every few months? Periods aren't entirely predictable and nighttime pads don't always work. Tampons are really unappealing to me. If I catch it right away next morning I can wash it out but that doesn't always happen (or sometimes I don't have time).

I'm replacing my sheets soon (for unrelated reasons) and would like to not have to worry about getting stains on the new ones. Should I just get darker sheets?

That happens to me every time I get my period (Why must you insist on sleeping on your back, body?)

What I usually do is put an old bath towel that I don't care about getting stained down on the sheet before I go to bed.
