omg, I was going to make a secret about that. That scene makes me cry every time I watch that movie. It's just something I never imagined happening, and then I started crying in the theater as "Close to You" came on. It was a really strong, moving scene and I'm still bitter that the movie wasn't nominated.

11. BEST currently running shounen series? No way, and I love this series to death and it is a good shounen series. Sometimes I wish the fandom was bigger outside of the LJ comm and DA but I kinda like that it's active enough there's something to check out in the comm everyday and small enough that we don't have any serious wank yet. Sadly, it gets a bad rep for having too many good looking guys and a big fangirl fanbase in certain places and the first arc is the dullest one despite the character development.

37. Well, you can't escape the fact that Fuuma did get "possessed" by Fate to become the other Kamui. That is one of the reason why it was tragic because Kamui lost the girl he loved and the boy who was his best friend and was sort in love with too.

Like you, I started off with the anime first and I only just caught up with the manga today. While I loved (and still like!) the anime, the manga does have a lot more detail and a less shallow characterisation of most characters, especially Yako. Even if you don't read it now, maybe give it a go after the anime finishes up? There's only five eps left! :D

Don't be put off by the HIDEOUSLY UGLY art in the first couple of volumes, either. The mong proportions eventually either level out or you just get used to them. I think that it's just a requirement of SJ series to have terrible artwork in the beginning.
