I agree! I doubt that the poster has ever even heard of V For Vendetta, and clearly doesn't know that it was a comic before it was a movie. Not that the comic has anything to do with the movie for the most part. Completly different. But it doesn't change the fact that the movie has nothing to do with 1984. And yes, I have seen/read all of the above.

13 - i agree about the Beatles thing. it's sad but Ross had so much pressure on him so in a way it was always going to be a disappointment, seeing as the expections were so high after 'Fever'.

09. I loved 1984, and I still enjoyed this movie. However, that is the failing of the movie: Making it like 1984. The graphic novel was anything but, and I was actually kind of pissed they took out the FATE computer system subplot and everything because Adam Susan was not some cookie-cutter malevolent dictator, he was a man who needed to be loved. 8[

Not saying the book is better or whatever, it's just... V for Vendetta isn't 1984.
