44: I, I, I kinda get you, man. Most webcomics are rubbish, which I guess comes naturally from getting little to no constructive criticism (it's just for fun if you don't like it then don't read it I'd like to see you try to make something aghagahg). It doesn't help when your audience is the internet, something that will gladly eat up characters/storylines/plot even worse than what you find in cheap TV sitcoms if there's chance of a gaming joke or WACKY HIJINKS!! or badly-drawn pretty boys. The internet is full of people with niche interests who cling to things that pander to them, after all.

That being said, there's still no excuse for anyone to like Control Alt Delete.

I am the only person who does not lick Achewood's arse. If I had to choose one webcomic to be destroyed forever, it'd be that one. Even over Dominic Deegan - at least I can just about tell what species the characters are.

44) errr, to tell the truth some webcomics are being published. Although I agree that generally a good deal of webcomics suck (and sadly these are the ones being published), there are a few good one amongst the shit (and sadly these don't get much attention).
Keep in ming that things published =/= good. There's a lot of shit you can buy in a comic store, after all D:

There are so many comics now that started as webcomics and are now PUBLISHED and are running in NEWSPAPERS around the WORLD. No, really. You *can* walk into a bookstore and buy webcomics. LOTS. Because we're in the future and mature enough to realize that you should actually try something before deciding it sucks.

Penny Arcade not only is published, but they've got a whole fucking CONVENTION now, and they donate to charity, AND they give out scholarships. Because they're THAT good. And they're a WEBCOMIC.

44. My friend draws a webcomic, and I pretend to like it. I mean, it's OKAY, but the art is lame and weeaboo, and the main character is such a Gary-Stu... eh. I can definitely agree with you.

45. I watched the anime first, and I liked it. I then read the manga when I found out about it, and I liked it. There are some of us who like both. I tend to like the manga more because there's more of it and therefore I can enjoy more of the story... if those bad reactions ever calm down enough, I recommend you read it. It really is a good manga.
